    Facial expressions and gestures

Discussion in 'Word games' started by Sky, Jan 17, 2010.

    Hi,

So this game is to help develop characters. Someone describes how a person is feeling and the next person lists a facial expression or gesture.

    Here's an example:

First person: Matt was furious with himself, how could he have forgotten?

Second person: - Matt's face was gradually turning the colour of beet-root, that dark red anger washed over him; he was furious with himself - how could he have forgotten?

The writing in red is a an expression/gesture/change to show what he is feeling/thinking.

The second person then describes how someone else is feeling ready for the next poster. Understand? I've described what I mean as best as I can...

    Okay, so here goes...

Julia was horrified at his words, she couldn't believe what she was hearing. How could he? He had sworn he would never cheat on her, he had made a commitment!
