Shit floats. Business 101. Better to be confident in your answer than to actually be right.

TMW someone's "it'll be easier this way" turns a one-day job into three. Damn straight you're only getting the original flat fee and not extra billable hours!

I feel you on that - my predecessor was an incompetent moron with the people skills of a particularly antisocial whelk.

T excruciating M W a horse steps on your toes. Literally. :dead:

    (Should’ve worn steel toed boots...)

Any animal I can't take down with one punch scares me, and I've got arms like Olive Oyl these days.

TMW you read the title of something trending on FB and it makes you sit for a moment... reading what you read to make sure you read it right... and pondering.... the Why and Isn't it already sort of agreed upon.... but then again.

TMW you realize that the correct decision would have been to just elbow the fucking geriatric out of the way, because now she's got her rucksack of a purse and her cane blocking one of the two ticket machines at the train station while she stands in front of the other, gawping helplessly at the newfound complexities of a system that hasn't changed, in hardware, software, or user interface in at least fifteen years. Of course, it looks like that was when she was in her low triple-digits, agewise, but the fact remains that no matter what happens, she won't be catching any of the next five trains, and thanks to your unfortunate outbreak of manners, now neither will you...

OMG!!!Ouch ouch ouch! Something similar happened to me once when I was cleaning a horse's front hoof and we got in each other's way (my fault), but it was just the top of my foot for like a couple of seconds. I could tell the horse was like, "Ooops, sorry, excuse me!" and he stepped off immediately.:) I cannot even imagine the toes! Wait a little while and see if you an wiggle them.

Dude, I'm 5'2" in my dreams, so I'd be scared of, like, most of the population! :D

Half the fun of riding a horse is that you're communicating with this 1000-pound animal who could easily kill you, but doesn't want to.

Sounds like my mother, who is five foot and one half inch.

Do not forget to mention that half inch unless you have the afternoon to hear about how she was the TALLEST girl in her class when she was twelve, but then....

The horse has studs in her front shoes, so of course she landed on me with a front hoof. I blame the stupid guy on skis who spooked her. Who skis that close to horse stables??

Anyway, I seem to have injured two toes but they don’t look broken. Just a little... maimed and mangled. I’m not gonna be running in a while. :supercry:

TMW you wake up manic and with a mild panic attack that you, of course, treat with three cups of coffee.

Am I an idiot? Yes. Yes I am.

Skiing close to a stable? Oh, there's a place in hell for that guy. That could have gone all kinds of bad. Glad you and the horse are OK (other than your poor toes)!

The character of the person who does it would be an inconsiderate asshole, for sure...Just plain clueless would't cut it. Oh man could that have ever gone bad. Makes me shudder to think of it.

He was also dressed entirely in bright yellow, and he was going fast on that narrow path. Like that was some urgent skiing, as if he was running late... :superthink:
