    History of blades in food?

Discussion in 'Research' started by Reilley Turner, Jun 6, 2015.

I was wondering, how far back does the blades in food history go?

You may need to reword this. I'm having trouble understanding the connection between blades and food.

I want, in some way, to have someone die due to swallowing a blade by, say, eating a apple. How would I, story wise, go about doing this?

You could take a look at: http://www.snopes.com/horrors/mayhem/needles.asp

I agree with their idea that it would be damn hard to cause serious injury by inserting a blade into food. A cut to the mouth, sure, but why would anyone swallow something that big and sharp?

I wanted to know the best way go go about this and you helped me figure it out! For that, I thank you.

Also, a little off-topic here, I liked your interview! I don't have a chance to read it all, as I am on a roll now, but from what I saw, I'm super interested in reading it sometime soon!
