lol, take your time. I hope to get more players into this section of the forum by teaming up non-experienced players with experienced, so this would be a good opportunity. the game is also flexible with the fighting style, and i am a very forgiving GM, so yeah, advertize that if you can. i would love ot get more people playing with us here.
Dragon fantasy huh? I rarely use plots involving Dragons, so I could try this. Besides I already abandoned the HGW game I was in another forum as it was boring as hell, and players were plain terrible.
*Cough* plan on makign this very interesting. And tip: this is a four-part RPG. Sink or Swim focuses on the first task of the story: gaining the power of the Great Hydra. very straightforward goal, but the twists are endlessssssss...
Uuum, you know my characters will be very... "Unique" in that sense I mean agressive with the plot. You said you'll be flexible, but there should be something like a limit.
I know it says they have no wings, so I am assuming that means the Earth Dragons cannot fly? And also can they only have poison based attacks?
Hmmm... well ill point it out if it goes too far -I can surprise you with how i can almost literally bend over backwards with plot stuff. Also, yes Asune this is a team-based plot. But if you happen to want to be a dragon you may consider talking to King. i just got a very lovely CS from him -you could work with that i should think. [MENTION=19926]Leon[/MENTION]ard neigther Water nor Earth dragons can fly, yes. That is because they have much more physical weight than possible to fly with. Plus, what would be the point? it adds variety. And as for only poison... that is their breath. Remember -they have mountains on their backs. They can cause landslides of their own free will.

When you say "team-based" is that a requirement or just a suggestion? And what, exactly, do you mean by this? Does one player create a humanoid (human, elf, dwarf, mer-folk) and the other a dragon? I'm interested in joining this, but I'm hesitant about being permanently bound to another player. Can I be a free agent, a dragon still looking for his/her master? I'm all for co-op play (it's the lifeblood of RPs, LOL), but I don't wanna get stuck if someone disappears. Although you guys seem liek a pretty consistent group, I've had that happen too many times in the past.
It is encouraged for the sake of new players, but you don't have to. Jess was actually without a dragon but i think ill be playing with her, unless you two happen to come up with something instead?
My take on it is that you have a dragon and a dragon rider. But I assume you could co-op in different ways as well. Nevertheless, you could always break that bond, it would make for an interesting twist. Your idea of a lone dragon is quite interesting to be honest.
Alright, thanks. I think I'm gonna make a free-agent earth dragon, if that's cool. Surely, some brave soul will come along and become his/her partner as the story progresses. I want it to happen organically, instead of starting the game as partners.
I'll be tweaking the RPG's first post, i seem to be gettign a lot of questions about things so ill see if i can fix that
Blaine! Name: Blaine! Age: ? Race: ? Appearance: Blaine's face his covered completely with white bandages like a mummy with only eye hole that reveals a large pale blue eye. The bandages also stretch all across his body covering various parts even his hands and feet. Though he still wears boots. The bandages wrapped around his right hand are carefully around each finger. His left hand his not movable though. It is hindered by large cast that keeps his left hand tapped to his chest. He's a very tall person standing at least 6/4 with very lanky arms and legs. His mannerisms make him seem as if he's an older man at least in his 50's or 60's. He doesn't seem to have a very muscular build but instead a long more somewhat more feminine body type. He also wears a long coat over his shoulders which goes all the way down to his calves. Despite not having a lot of muscle he's extremely heavy....to an absurd agree. Personality: Blaine is very wise.....or at least he thinks he is. He has a tendency to give Yoda, Obi Wan or Mister Miyagi style advice. Though instead of being deep and meaningful it just ends up being terrible or make no sense. He also seems to keep to himself but that doesn't stop him from talking. He enjoys conversation quite a bit. About various topics such as politics, history and beliefs. Blaine also dislikes fighting. For personal reasons though he isn't above it must be done. He also can be very 'cute' in a way. At times as he enjoys flirting. With men mostly but he'll take a woman if that's all there is around. He's also very ominous as he seems to simply appear out nowhere. Someone could be talking private and...........BAM! There is Blaine right behind them. His voice is that of a weazy old man due to his bandages. Finally Blaine is just plain weird. Bio: TBR Skills: Blaine carries a finely made very sharp saber which he keeps around his waist. Blaine is also extremely heavy for a human being. To the point if he gets knocked off his feet the entire ground shakes. His footprints make the go deeper then normal. He's also inhumanly strong to the point he can stagger dragon's with a blow of his fist. This also means he's quite slow in areas of combat.
