Trying to decide if I prefer infuriatingly itchy skin at nighttime, or headaches throughout the day coupled with an insatiable appetite. My appetite has tripled as the tablets I have for sleep also increase appetite. At least the itchy skin was mainly of a night, instead of all damned day.

Ladies on the jewelry forum. Why would you take show-offy close-ups of your fingers to show off your show-offy rings- but not bother shaving your hairy fingers first? Hairy lady fingers, magnified 800 times. OMG STOP IT!!!

One of the issues I deal with because of MS is what I like to call
‘mystery itch.’ When it’s active, it a maddening inexplicable itch, with no definable cause, that nothing but a healthy set of finger nails vigorusly scratching away can soothe. There’s not really anything else to do about it, since it’s not real. I’ve tried meds, since it’s a neuropathic issue, but they didn’t help.

In my case it's because my body is under so much stress that it's affecting my skin. If I scratch it, it gets even worse and spreads. The tablets do stop the itching, and have the added bonus of causing drowsiness, so I take them at night. I'm out of my sleeping tablets for the moment, but I think I will alternate between each of them, so I don't have to endure feeling ravenous as well as having a pounding headache.

Don't know if this will help FP but I get a lot of itching on my head, from wearing wigs and from the stuff I put on my scalp to make my hair grow. Since I'm far too silly to stop, I take Benadryl when it gets too annoying. In the US, it's over the counter (diphenhydramine). It's also good for sleep. Unless it's what you're already taking... In any case, maybe there's a different medicine you could take that would not have the side effects?

Thanks for your help. I have since discovered that all the medications I have been given are meant to be taken at night, not during the day! It would help if my GP had actually said this to me when they were prescribed to me...or even the pharmacist. Certainly a FWW that.

Spent all weekend camping out at a re-enactment show. I'm now exhausted, my fingers hurt, and I'm now really hot because I think I've got used to being freezing cold.

I need to wait 3 more days till payday so I can checkout my Amazon cart, and waste about $150 worth of items I could technically live without. Also scheduled my PTO on wrong weekend to enjoy these items. Sucks.

Also, my phone is about dead and I won’t be able to charge it for a few more hours till I get home. Sucks to be me.

I have to get a new backpack, cos I managed to split my other one. That will mean a couple of weeks umming and ahhing back and forth over how much to spend, how many pockets it must have, and whether to pay more for a pretty one or not.
It'd be nice to have a PA for things like this. Free up my time for more important pursuits like watching dvds and playing sims. :p

My current backpack was chosen in about five minutes when my old one split on the wrong end of town (well, the right end, just near a big box store) and I had only about fifteen minutes to get myself and my textbooks into the classroom.

    It's working out okay.

As I walk up the motorway each week, mine has to meet very specific side pocket requirements for my water and my hi-vis vest. Of course, I could skip the vest and get a hi-vis backpack. Maybe. :superthink:

My tablet's weather app (Accuweather) has a widget on the home screen. The widget has correctly identified my location down to a few hundred meters, and says that it is currently, as of this moment, raining. I clicked the widget to go to the page, and the page says there is 0% chance of rain for my location for the whole day.

Whether or not it's raining outside (or inside, for that matter) is pretty much irrelevant when an app can't even agree with itself.

    In other tech related issues:

I want to kill google! OK, so it's my own damn fault for fiddling with the settings, but now I can't find the setting to undo what I did!!!
Why does this happen to me every fucking time??? Easy to turn something off, but impossible to find it again so I can turn it back on!!!! :supermad::supermad::supermad:

I'm doing really well so far. I haven't broken anything-yet.

I did, but the instructions always mention something that isn't actually there to click on. :supermad:
So I'm stuck until I can grow some more patience. :p

That may not be Google, that might be under settings or utilities on the device you’re using.

Accuweather's radar is inaccurate as well, or is many hours off. The other day it was raining and thundering, and when I looked at the radar to see if more storms were were headed my way, the entire Southern California area, as well as the ocean, were totally clear.
