With the forum down all day, you had enough time. I hope you did ALL THE THINGS!!!!

Wait - Trump is still president, we don't have a faster-than-light space drive, electronic dance music is still a thing, and I'm not sexy. Get busy Link! :D

that's called an Eglu Cube, made by a company called Omlet ... They are seriously expensive new , I got mine off ebay (which is why the top is held on with baler twine as some brackets etc were missing)

Things have been going really well for me lately.

When I told my boss I was staying in Richmond and not moving back to Illinois, she was so happy, she cried.

    I got a raise.

I'm looking at a room for rent this afternoon that would be just perfect.

I've been exercising more and oddly enjoying it.

I'm looking into taking some classes or trying new things (rock climbing or dance).

I'm making friends at work. They're taking me to a gay bar this Wednesday.

And I've been dating a pretty awesome dude. We've gotten coffee, ice cream, lunch, dinner, drinks... And eventually we're gunna go see a movie and swim on the river. It's so nice having someone to do things with.

    I am one happy girl.

EDIT: And I'm getting a tattoo! I don't know when yet.. But it's gunna happen.

I am HAPPY because I had my colonoscopy test yesterday and everything for me, asswise, is fine! I don't have to do that again for another ten or a hundred years, whichever comes first!

I slept VERY well last night, coasting on the last of the sedative they gave me. Now I'm wide awake, very hungry, and I have a whole large intestine to fill! I think I'll just eat and watch TV today, and annoy the rest of you with my chittering. :)

You mean you traded them in in return for being un-Chained?

Price you had to pay*, man, just live with it.

*in truth, I have no idea what happened with your username(s), but it sucks that you lost your shinies

    I got the room, woo!!

I met with the guy today, Rob, and we seemed to vibe pretty well. He's around my age, a gamer, very normal. He's planning on moving out within the next few months to live with his girlfriend, so I'll have the whole place to myself. And since he owns and it's paid off, we can negotiate what I'll pay in rent.

It's a small place, and my room is even smaller, but it's nice too. It's a bachelor pad at the moment, but once he leaves, I'll be able to girl it up. He told me I could move in tonight if I wanted, but I don't have a bed yet. So I'll start looking tomorrow! Woo!!

How can you write a sentence that includes gamer and normal?

If this was a film you'd shortly discover that Rob's an obsessive serial killer who keeps the polished skulls of his previous tenants under his bed

 Gamers are all I know. lol I seem to be drawn to them for some reason. Gamers are safe. They're too busy playing WoW and Final Fantasy to have time to kill real people.

It's pretty normal to be a gamer these days. A lot less normal to be a jock.

I'm happy-ish since I managed to get some well-needed sleep. I'll probably be exhausted again by the end of the day, no matter how little I do, but oh well.

Saw me a luna moth last night. First one in a few years--they're only around for about 4-5 weeks in June and July and are endangered to boot. Super cool, beautiful creatures. Bigger than my frigging hand.

    upload_2017-6-16_14-37-59.jpeg

The picture isn't mine. My moth wouldn't pose long enough and I ended up shutting the deck lights off so it wouldn't fry itself. I'm hoping it comes back tonight but they only live for a couple of days.
