    I can so relate to that. I just figured out a key in the ending to my book that had been eluding me.

    I saw "Avengers: Infinity War" yesterday morning and I have to see it again. It was so good!

    Though I can't forgive Marvel. Semi-spoiler ahead.

    Why would they do that? How could they destroy my heart like that? From the get go, too! I'm still crying over a certain death. ;_;

    Excellent work! Keep going.

    I know how it feels, it took me about a week of brainstorming to handle a chapter I was working on, had to enlist the help of CT on that one. But got through it and now on to the last part of the book, hell yeah and it's turned into an action adventure novel! At least for a support character and his team of mercenaries. My MC wont be doing s*** for a while, lol! So I'll be following them for the first part of the last part of the book.

    The enemy they're facing is very dangerous and conventional Warfare for their time won't work without Mass casualties. ( my MC`S Society is equivalent to the romans)

    Another happy, I've grown to like that stupid haircut I got last week. I got new glasses on Friday, too, and both combined help me look somewhat more androgynous and I love that. :)

    I want to voice my thanks to my critique group, and critiquers everywhere. It might be that one comment, that one review that sparks a shower of, "Damn, that's it! That's the answer!" I figured out how to end my book because of a single comment by the wise sage that runs my critique group.

    My protagonist is trapped by people that could kill her. The critique comment: "This is the end of the book, things should be wrapping up."

    My answer was, it wasn't the Hunger Games, she wasn't going to kick ass and get away because that wasn't the story. But truth be told, I hadn't yet figured out how she was going to get out of the situation.

    Then I went home and sat on it. "Needs to be wrapping up...." Of course! Eureka! I had half the story wrapping up, but not the other half. D'uh! That needs to happen too. Yes! Now I know just how to do it! :agreed:

    So a couple of weeks back my cousin married her longtime boyfriend and the father of her son. To celebrate this I got a Lush giftbox and a toy steering wheel for the boy, who's 15 months now.

    Yesterday she sent me a photo of him with it, it was so cute.

    Friends cat, not really "his" as the cat wanders the neighborhood and just likes to hang around my friends backyard, but details. Anyway, the cat that I've nicknamed "Shithead" on account of his brown head and white body, brought me a gift while I was making a quick visit. He gave me an American cockroach (those large ones that run near light speed :p ). It was dead and he was quite proud of the gift. Told shithead "I'll eat that never, thanks buddy" and he meowed then walked off.

    That's very sweet, in his own kitty kind of way. He likes you!

    My Visitin' Kitteh (neighbor's cat who hangs out at my place every afternoon or comes over in the mornings when I'm having coffee) once gifted me with a lizard he'd killed. I thanked him profusely, then explained that it really is the thought that counts so he needn't go to so much trouble.

    Maybe you guys remember from me posting here a while ago, but I won third place in my county's young writer's contest. Well, today they had a reading for that and they gave us a certificate. It was throughout the whole county, so little kids were reading their stories as well as teens. While everyone else was reading I realized something quite funny, in my opinion. All the little kids wrote happy stories about dogs and stuff. All the older kids wrote stuff about death and getting abused (and I wrote a horror type story).
    Little kids=happy
    Teens=not so happy
    Also, they had cupcakes afterwards. I got a pretty chocolate cupcake with purple icing, which is my favorite color. :bigsmile:
    Then I dropped it on the sidewalk.:bigmeh:

    Even though it isn't displayed to often in the rough of my WIP and hopefully I can expand on it some more in the revision. But I really do enjoy the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dichotomy when it comes to my MC and her Father and her Son.

    Was doing my enforced spring-cleaning when I instead started to plan my vacation instead!

    So I might be trying out summer clothes instead of doing important stuff. Why I'm trying summer clothes when I'm going to England is still a mystery :bigwink:

    Hey! It's not that bad here! In-fact, we're currently enjoying one of our four days of sun we get each year :cool::p

    I'm staying for about 12 days... should I bring a winter-coat?

    I'm not going until July-August, but it's been more than a year since I saw most of these clothes... and having a fashion-show is more fun than cleaning toilets!

    That may depend on how it is here closer to the time. We just had a week of 20+ degrees, but it's not amazing all the time sadly.
    Where abouts are you staying?

    I'm staying in Kent, so... south east? Practically in France, so I guess it'll be warm enough?

    My boyfriend will kill me for saying he practically lives in France... :whistle:
