Damn stalker Not many people spell it with the right amount of R's, though, so good on you! People usually think I'm named Einarsson. I'm not.
While I’ve only had weird-ass surnames everyone misspells, so I’d love to have a common, boring one for a change.
You're Finnish. I've never met a Finnish person without a weird-ass surname! The one I'm looking at is really simple, though, so while it's unusual there is no way to misspell it.
Right now? Wasn't all that great when I was living there either. Some places are great, and others are awful. Pure luck of the draw, it seems.
That was my mum's genuine surname from her first husband. She said she always got people giving her that look, like she was using a fake name.
Funnily enough I think all the people that work in Gov. Alphabet Agencies all are Mr./Mrs./Ms. Smith. At least in movies in shows they are.
Nothing like fresh organic peaches straight off the tree. Are nice little tree outside is blooming for the season, and they are delicious! Also there are free so that's nice too.
I'm getting a stand mixer thanks to eBay putting up a 15% voucher on all goods. So we're getting a Kenwood for less than £200 This will take my baking to the next level.

Fifteen minutes ago I posted in the Unhappy Thread about how I had a plot problem I couldn’t fix. BUT NOW I FIXED IT. Ahhhhh!
I don't think so, I'm excited after all. Lol, the bottom tends to be raw when making is botched. (ETA: Or in the case of pastry, of you forget to blind bake it, you'll get a soggy bottom.) Though bf's brother is a D&D fan so he'd appreciate that.
I wish I'd been lifting weights, running, and using the other exercise materials at college for the past two years, but I'm glad I finally started. I've only been running and working out moderately hard this summer, but the impact on everything from stamina and stress tolerance to basic mental coordination is very perceptible. It's like everything feels slightly easier when you're in decent shape, which has an enormous combined effect over the span of a day. Come to think of it, I finally picked my grades up last semester and finished my story for class around the same time I started working out again. My metabolism's always been high enough to shield me from obesity, so I made the mistake of looking at exercise as something you add to your life when you happen to feel like it, rather than a core requirement. I'm not talking about some crazy four-hours-every-day beat yourself into the ground regimen (unless you really feel like it), but an hour or so three-to-five days a week? At least for me, that's an absolute requirement for the level of strength I need for the rest of life. Like sleep or basic housekeeping.
This client just asked me if it'd be okay for him to come to Chicago for the weekend in a few weeks so we could catch up. Pretty sure I know where this is going, and he's a pretty good looking guy so... He's also not technically my client anymore so it's not that unethical...
I just got my bloodwork results from my doctor's appointment yesterday, and for the first time since I started treatment, my lymphocytes are way, way down, out of the normal healthy range -- which sounds bad out of context, but in context, the lymphocytes are the little cancerous bastards, so we don't like'em. Between that and the fact that there's no longer any trace of the swelling in my neck that can be found via physical exam, I'm thinking there's a good chance that as we speak I am cancer-free I've got one more chemo infusion before my final PET scan, then two more afterwards for safety (I'm not complaining*; chemo's not fun but if I've gotta do it I'm gonna do it right), but it's really cool to think that I may've already kicked cancer's ass. * there will definitely be more complaining
Congratulations! Let's hope those little shits are gone for good! On a side not, is it weird that I read your little aside about more complaining in Lemony Snicket's (Patrick Warburton's) voice?
hang on. Patrick Warburton, beloved American voice actor, is a national treasure. Of all the cool roles Partrick Warburton has done (Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove, Brock Samson in The Venture Brothers, Joe Swanson in Family Guy)— You pick Lemony Snicket? My opinion of you has CHANGED.
