Just unraveling what Piccard does in his leisure time that we don't get to see.
I’m feeling rather smug. I filled up my gas tank yesterday at$2.48, come out of work today it $2.98.
Lost has booked his first week of vacation now! It's always easier when there's and actually date to look forward to.
Can't wait to have someone who can cook for me when I get home from work
Also it's over my birthday which just makes it better!
I had someone say to me today that I had a friend in them, which was nice to hear. Two people, actually. I may run into them again in time at another group.
Taking a class about game design with the Unity engine. The first five projects come straight from the textbook, but the final one can fit any mold as long as it meets the requirement.
Well it makes me happy, kitties doing destruction.
It’s raining!!!! I woke to rain coming down in a steady shower and the sound of cars going by on the wet street.
A long rainy season always makes me happy, because it means no summer temperatures just yet.
Of course, things could start sliding in the hills later, but for now? Happy, happy, happy!
(Edited a typo— My orig said “the sound of CATS going by on the wet street”.)
Do their tyres make a pusss pusss sound as they hit the puddles ?
Yes. Lot of hissing and scratching.
That would be for the Poetry section
I got another Deliveroo (this can not become a habit!) and I couldn't decide whether I wanted pizza or a burger, and I somehow accidentally ordered both (my guess is I didn't take the burger off the order when I thought I had). A computer error meant I couldn't order cheesy chips, so I did my quickest ever supermarket run (there and back in TEN MINUTES, bitches!) and bought some (also Coke, because they didn't do drinks). I hadn't eaten all day for various reasons, so this was exactly what I needed.
EDIT: Oh God, I feel sick.
Any of that will make a fine breakfast!
I'm currently eating cold pizza for lunch. There is no greater lunch than cold pizza.
No pain today! Which means I didn't inadvertently cause an injury to the area. Here's hoping it stays this way as I have no desire to keep taking Advils.
The prescription painkillers were too much for me. ¬_¬
I'd been thinking of ordering a pizza for a long time myself. Must...fight...fast...food...urges. Already had choc rice cakes, choc breakfast biscuits, and choc milk for lunch.
I thought there was a roach on my kitchen floor but it was a tiny, nickel-sized frog. I took his picture but it's blurry because he hopped.
Happy Birthday to my littlest lady, Hope. She is 3 today.
Uniqlo has come out with some linen pants that have belt loops and are business cut!
Every year they do some linen, but previously they've drawstring, loose, "beachcomber" sort of things. That's okay at some of my jobs but not others.
Osaka in July, August, and September has has a couple years where it never, not even at 4 am, gotten below 28c/82f, so lightweight and breathable is a blessing.
I am going to buy a closetload of these things.
So you need these Real Gentlemen's Shirts. X-Large fits everybody. Rip it a bit if it does not. Washable but looses some of it's cougar protection abilities if you wash it every year.
Use this in Japan and every female will be impressed! (In some way.)
And a video tutorial. (In Finnish. Sorry. You will get the nonverbal point.)
I'm back to the money stealing bill pay set up with Vodafone. Why is that happy, you may ask. Well, it means decent internet allowance for one. So music is back on the menu!
This is one reason why I keep my vinyl.
I've had a Save the Date for my mum's cousin's wedding, which is great, but all I can think about is this scene from Brooklyn Nine-Nine and I can't stop giggling whenever I think of it.
