I thought there was a roach on my kitchen floor but it was a tiny, nickel-sized frog. I took his picture but it's blurry because he hopped.

 

Happy Birthday to my littlest lady, Hope. She is 3 today.

Uniqlo has come out with some linen pants that have belt loops and are business cut!

Every year they do some linen, but previously they've drawstring, loose, "beachcomber" sort of things. That's okay at some of my jobs but not others.

Osaka in July, August, and September has has a couple years where it never, not even at 4 am, gotten below 28c/82f, so lightweight and breathable is a blessing.

I am going to buy a closetload of these things.

 

So you need these Real Gentlemen's Shirts. X-Large fits everybody. Rip it a bit if it does not. Washable but looses some of it's cougar protection abilities if you wash it every year.

Use this in Japan and every female will be impressed! (In some way.)

I'm back to the money stealing bill pay set up with Vodafone. Why is that happy, you may ask. Well, it means decent internet allowance for one. So music is back on the menu!

 

This is one reason why I keep my vinyl.

 

I've had a Save the Date for my mum's cousin's wedding, which is great, but all I can think about is this scene from Brooklyn Nine-Nine and I can't stop giggling whenever I think of it.

 

I had an opportunity to send my kids questions to a researcher to the opposite side of the world. She was fascinated.

I'm really, really, really happy about this.

(This kid has dreamed about becoming a researcher for years.)

 

I feel more at ease than I have done in a long time.

 

Gave up most carbs (no refined sugar, fruit, fruit juice, alcohol, cereal, oatmeal, pancakes, pasta, bread or potatoes) and my blood glucose is down 40-50 points and I've lost 19 pounds in four weeks.

 

Hey, I gave up fruit too!

 

Passed 105K, and getting so close to finding Janxica.
Though I fear things will get a bit interesting once they
finally do find her, and I kinda pity them, cause Janxica
is so small compared to everyone else, even the midget
they encountered a floor or two up.
After that I get to write Graxis' POV, and he is apart
of the Wolf Pack now, which will be fun to move
about, and even more so when they bump into Cor
and Sarge.

Also this ducky making a dynamic landing.

 

Today, I voted for the first time. There was a real sense of gravity to the whole thing.

Feeling a lot better from the surgery. Not 100%, but still a lot better. After week two is complete my body should be back to normal. Just without the worry of screaming money leeching potatoes being created by it.

Still, getting better now, yippee!

 

Found out that Sea World is offering free tickets to US Veterans for a limited time! Just scored 4 free tix. We used to go every summer when we were active duty, but after we became vets and the offer was only active duty, we thought we were done. But they are doing vets until July 15! Just FYI for any other veterans out there. If you want to know how to get them, PM me, I'm happy to help.

 

Spent the day taking photos, and now I have 679 to upload and sort through.

I finally told my mum about my crush. It was a big relief to get it off my chest. Of course she didn't judge or act shocked or anything. She's asked permission to show the message thread to my dad, which I granted.

She actually guessed who it was. *Nervous laughter*
