Crank that shit up to 11!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, this is the easy-listening crap my parents had on constantly when I was young. Sometimes I feel like I grew up in a three-bedroom, ranch-style elevator...

I was singing along by the end, whether I liked it or not.

I made a playlist on Spotify called winter playlist and fell asleep with it on but in the middle of the night I woke up from a depressing dream and heard a strange unfamiliar song playing. At first I thought it was some generic Christian band because I recently added some Christian songs to the playlist but later on when I listened to it better I realized that Steven Wilson was on vocals.

DUDE, they're literally my favorite, even though the band started before I was even born haha.

I was lucky enough to meet them in Cincinnati a little over a year ago at a restaurant before the concert. Wonderful guys. They put on a helluvah show; I don't think I'll ever forget that weekend. Still have Zach Lind's drumstick that he threw to me and my cousin at the end.

And don't say "remember". They're still around and putting out great tunes. :-D

I like everything from Static Prevails to their most recent work.

I didn't even know that! I was into them back in Bleed American days and I just kinda presumed they must have broken up by now :p

No fam, they're still together, all the original members. Which is pretty impressive actually.

It really is. They've been around since before I was old enough to like them. That's genuinely impressive.

That song and this were popular at about the same time when I was in junior high school:

Oh man you should take a look at BabyMetal. It's metal but with Japanese school girls as the singers.

I really didn't like the mash of Death Metal and J-Pop. It just doesn't sound right to me.
Pretty much people either love Baby Metal, or they hate it (there is no in between).

I don't really like it either, at least not as actual music that I want to listen to. I like being able to sing along :p But I think it's a cool novelty and I love that they've become quiet popular.
