    Finally there!!

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by SonnehLee, Jul 3, 2008.

Okay, so I had to celebrate. I reached the climax of my story. I'm estatic, and probably won't sleep anytime soon.

Sorry, just had to share the news.

Climax of the story you're writing? If so, good for you. :)

Congratulations! I completely understand wanting to share. I imagine that you're feeling quite the thrill after putting so much effort into a project. :-D

Yep, the one I'm writing. A novel, 157 pages, not sure how many words, near 80,000, thus far. I was very happy. Even though I get the feeling I'm going to have to re-do it. Needs more emotion. Hence the reason for taking a break.

    Wow! Good job! :D
I really wish I could just get a page into any of the ideas I have for a novel. Seems like you have a good sense of focus, unlike me. :p

Aw well, rewriting isn't too bad once you've got the idea written down. How long have you been working on this novel?

Rewriting is where you turn a rough, bare-wood piece of furniture into a richly polished maple bureau. Find joy in the process!

Since October...and you're right cog, with as many times as I'd imagined the scene, I can redo it again and again.
