    The Universe Smiles on Me...

... Or else this wouldn't be in my hand:

I can't believe it's finally out. I've been waiting years for this, and now it's here. I got it at a midnight release, and was too busy playing to post anything about it.

That being said, it's the greatest video game I've ever played. Ever. True, I don't much get into video games, but years ago I used to be. This blows anything out of the water that I've ever seen. If you like video games, do yourself a favor and buy this.

The graphics are superb to say the least. The dialog sounds like it's straight out of a gangster movie. There are so many things you can do in this game that I couldn't even begin to describe them. Man.

Well, uh, I think I've typed enough. GTA 4 and my 360 are waiting for me.

I had San Andreas and it bored me to tears because I got stuck on this racing level. (Racing games aren't my forté, I can't even beat Mario Kart). When I get a 360 and if there aren't any racing levels in this one I might get it, since I did find some of the missions fun.

I've heard good things, but i'm not a fan of GTA. I think it goes a little to far, but then that's just me. its imprtance to Video Game history is undenable though.

Remember how different GTA 2 is from GTA 3? It's the same thing with GTA 3 to GTA 4.

Yeah. If I ahd to make a list of the top ten games that changed gaming, GTA 3 would be ther for sure, with Super Mario 64, LoZOoT, and Doom.

For me, GTA 4 has set a new precedent when it comes to both storyline and gameplay quality. Just like GTA 3 before it, it's changed the way I see video games.

You know, this game has nothing but bad press in the media...

I've never been that interested by GTA, to be honest. It seemed a little...simplistic, for my liking.

One of my mates sold his last two remaining esctasy pills for half their street value JUST so he could buy this game on release ...

that's the greatest depth of madness I've seen since Halo 3 came out.

Why'd the name of this thread get changed?

I'm not a fan of the GTA's. The graphics aren't actually very impressive, but of course, it's about the gameplay.

I'll get this - it's a must buy. But I didn't like San Andreas or Liberty City.

Multiplayer sounds fun, especially the mode where there's one bad guy everyone needs to protect against the cops on the other team.

I still say meh. It wouldn't make me rush out and buy it (though realistically, I'd need to get a PS3 or xbox 360 first...). I'm happy sat here playing Metroid Prime :p

Someone might not have liked the title, "God Loves his Children." I did find it an odd title for a thread about GTA.

I probably won't get it. I much prefer my regular first person shooters, the occasional hack and slash, and RPG here and there, and lots of giant robots :D. Halo, Armored Core 4, and Mss Effect are me favorite games.

Only vaguely relevant perhaps, but they made me laugh.
