I can see it now, munching down (if you’ll excuse the vulgarity) on the candy beads and “Arggghh!!”, right into a cavity! *

    * only applies to the British as Americans all have perfect teeth

I like the weight of it, and that I can potentially write in space with it one day. ;)
Right now I'm writing the most important parts of my journal with it. I hear it has life-time guarantee, and since I plan on becoming immortal, I will see much use for that pen.

One day when all my friends and loved ones are dead and I sit there in my immortal loneliness, I will pick up that pen, and tears will drizzle down my cheek.

But surely you’ll do some upside down and under water writing, too?

Yeah, there was one that was a variation of my name and another that was my Spanish equivalent. The latter killed thousands nearly a hundred years ago.

This is more a thing that annoys me and should, but its absolutely raining spambots.

In a usual day we get maybe 20 in the trap and another 5 or 6 leakers. so far I've evicted about 100 from the spam trap (they're the ones with pink names) over the course of today, but that's the easy part... the more time consuming thing is tracking down the ones that get through the spam filter / trying to figure out if new member with an odd name is a real person or a spamlord before they actually start posting "buy more viagra" all over the place.#

Anyone wonders what the staff do all day, this is it - actually running the physical forum and dealing with real people pales into insignificance compared to the continual effort to shovel spam bots into the fiery depths of silicon hell

Annoying: follow directions for a brine, the meat turned out just as tough and salty.

You have my sympathy and empathy, especially since I just came here from the dance forum I moderate. Sometimes there is a bit of a lull, then we'll get hit with dozens at a time, too many of which sneak through the protective programs.

and also spam on the contact us... and daniel's ongoing not putting a filter on it... no we don't want your guest post on a highly interesting subject, nor do we want to buy your ciallis , nor are we interested in murder for hire, fake documents, kitchen cabinets, designer goods, giant african land snails..., nor are we interested in meeting nymphomaniacs (well not the ones who message you saying "i'm a real woman and definitely not a scam"...hmm sounds legit to me )

If you ever message us on the contact us and you don't get a reply its because it drowned in a sea of spam...that's why we prefer people to use the report function where possible

I dunno why it annoys you, you can get some useful stuff from these contacts. Just the other day, I had an email from a very nice Nigerian general who needs me to help transfer some money, all I have to do is send him some cash to pay the release fee and he'll send me a cut of the proceeds.

I'm sure I should hear back from him any day now.

Who's dumb idea was it to insert that clackety fake keyboard sound after you reply to the telephone bot?

You mean "Whose", not "Who's". "Who's" is a contraction of "who is".

You know what really annoys me? Pedants.

thing is none of these spammers have any fake documents, hacking skills, murder for hire etc. what they’re going to do is take your money and laugh, and you can’t go to the police because what you are trying to buy is illegal

Are you familiar with camouflage passports? They're official-looking documents prepared in the name of non-existent but plausible states that you can carry in case of being detained by people with grudges against your home country. Absolutely no legal validity, but when the men with the AKs force their way onto your boat/plane/train looking for [insert imperialist scum country name here] you can pull out proof that you are a citizen of the Republic of Northern Ireland or the sovereign nation of Greenland.

Something that would be fun to have but out of my price range and unnecessary.

Is it more because its voting season(in the US... Idk about other countries)?
My phone and text messages get spammed out the wazzoo during this time. My phone has a spam filter but its been happening more frequently that spam texts will make it into my inbox. More often than not is propaganda.

Any other time, its not as bad
