Things That Annoy Me, But Shouldn't

critically acclaimed authors with continuity errors/minor mistakes in their work.
In one scene a character went from having a blue dress to a red dress.
In one page, a character went from one spelling of his name, "Raimon" to a completely different spelling, "Raymond" (took me a little bit to realize it was the same person, and then the second spelling was never used again).
A character having "mousy brown hair" in one book, then "bombshell blonde" with no explanation, no passage of time.

I shouldnt be annoyed because authors are human too!

I'm annoyed at myself for beating myself up over minor things in my own work and freaking out because, for example, one of my short stories that got published, a character was eating out of a bowl with a FORK instead of a SPOON like I originally meant. Reading these type of errors in famous works make me want to facepalm.

If it had been a book I'd bought instead of a library book, I would have circled it as a reminder to myself "FAMOUS WRITERS MAKE HUMAN ERRORS TOO!"

(and yes, i do underline errors in books i read, lol!)

Things that annoy me...

YouTube Algorithms. Now I have things popping up in my feed (unintentional chicken reference) from things I've typed in posts on the Forum. Remember when we were all talking about the Monkees in The Notable Death Thread the other day and CT asked who they were, and I explained what the show was, and added that the comedy was over the top, with shades of the Three Stooges and the Marx Brothers?

Well, today I've got Marx Brothers videos popping up in my feed. And that was the only time I've typed the words "Marx Brothers". ETA: And I've watched nothing remotely like them.
