This is a thread dedicated to posting both real and fictional wedding/union paraphernalia. Just a fun space to throw around ideas and images in that department. Enjoy!
Omg! That first cake could almost be plaid! The second... a bloody wedding cake how perfect is that! Omg! Those invitations!.... Will I ever finish my book to make enough money to afford this? I'm going to try my hardest.
I never plan on getting married, but I must admit that the ceremonious grandeur of weddings fascinates me. I hope you all don't mind that I be a silent observer of this thread.
If I do ever set up an actual business in this field, my plan would be to offer beautiful budget weddings. I'm a strong believer that they can be done, and I hate seeing people get screwed so badly for wanting to join themselves to another person. Makes me mad, sad, and sick.
Your so shiny @flawed personality keep shining dear. Keep making lists and checking them twice. I'll tell you who has been naughty, you tell me who has been nice; so I can make them naughty. That's definitely going on my list of songs So is this one. Jake picked it out for us. @Jake the Snake "I breathe you in."
In my world, during the wedding ceremony it is heavily stressed that the union is equal, and that true partnership is required for a happy marriage. So far, in my Current WIP, it is Kristol and Her husband, Maximus. Though she technically has more authority, her being a Queen and him being a Lord-Centurion, later a Prince-General. She usually tries to keep it to where she is the boss. . while respecting his authority as a Military Leader.
Jake and I are equal I wouldn't have it any other way. Unless he wants something redder, then I'm all yours @Jake the Snake
I meant to ask if you knew what families Jake has connections to in Scotland and Ireland, as they might have their own tartan? Hopefully, a nice red one. There's also bagpipes, if you like those?
So, I was trying to get in some sleep, and my brain 'pinged' with this idea for a hat. Looked around, and this is pretty similar to what I 'saw' in my mind's eye, although not exactly: The one I imagine has taller, more elegant feathers, a black rim and the hat overall is much larger.
