    Time Jump

Discussion in 'Plot Development' started by SNJade96, Jun 5, 2020.

Okay, so in my novel, I have to jump ahead a month in the timeline. The problem is, the chapter before also jumped ahead a month; I feel like it would be a little too jarring to do it again, but anything that I could put before it would just be filler. Anyway, should I go through with the time jump, or try and move around plot elements, and if I do go through with it, what are some ways I can do it to make it less jarring?
