How important is it to mention in a story? I just started reading Dark Tower: The Gunslinger and I was kind of wondering when and where this all takes place, when I realized I haven't made any hints or mentions of where anyone is in my own story.
It takes place in another world at an unspecified time. As you can see from that book, mentioning time and place doesn't matter at all in the right milieu.
