Anyone know anything about this company?

    Loud Cloud Publishing

Noticed this on face book, the websight is pretty lean, but the company is less then a year old.(Summer 2010)

    They specialize in ebooks.

They don't specify genres or give many details on the sight.

Jumping onboard with a publisher that has not track record is pretty risky.

There is no information on the website that provides any details on what experience the publisher/editors/marketers have.

There are plenty of ebook publishers out there that are established and have a track record, if that's what you're looking for.

Also, they intend to use social media to discuss author submissions: "Your consent that we may blog, tweet, facebook or otherwise discuss your submission in a positive and creative fashion online, subject to our privacy policy."

If it were me, I'd wait to see with this publisher. They haven't even put a novel out yet.

The first flag was advertising on facebook.
the second was no examples of their published works.

I think its the reverse of unpublished authors. I want them to get a chance to make it, but there is so much potential for failure.

I didn't like that clause either. Not sure why a professional company would need to discuss openly the work of an author.

Yeah, I'd avoid. If I were you, I'd go through Duotrope's Digest to try to find a publisher for your work (Google it).
