Top Referrers

I was under the impression that this stastic available through the User Control Panel / Users was for how many referrals you had made, i.e. new members quoting you as the reason they joined as we have invites to send direct from the site encouraging our associates to register. However, I suspect I was mistaken as I appear on this list of top referrers yet have never referred anyone to the site as above (it's because I have have few friends rather than being a slight against the site, sniff.).

Therefore, I am right to think that this statistic is derived from how many times we approve (or disapprove) of members through the reputation balance icon?

no, it is referrals, and you can see who listed you as a referrer

Country-Feedback and bborps. If you go to this page (or alternatively, click "links" along the top bar of your page, and then "referrers" and scroll down to find your name, it says there.

 

Thanks - explains a little. At least I know who Country-Feedback is, although I didn't do the actual referral. bborps is more of a mystery. Kind regards.
