Yup, with the caveat that next of kin/those dependent on an individual be given the opportunity to use whatever that individual left behind to build a self sustaining life for themselves before it reverts back to humanity. That way no one is being forced to start at square one, but valuable assets aren't being horded from the larger community. I'm not talking about forcing grieving widows to sell their wedding bands. I think the Death +50 system for works entering the public domain is a decent workable system that shouldn't just be applied to intellectual property, but my main grievance with copyright laws is their dissimilarity between countries. Especially now where people can 'commit crimes' on the internet that are perfectly legal in their home country, but still be charged and spend time in prison because it affected someone in another country where what they did was illegal.
