Dude, either get me ILM or a GoPro and someone who has done something really bad, I've got to see this!
If the surface tension of water plays into this, I would expect the steam build up to explode, like popcorn.
Something I demonstrated years ago (I'm good doing Sudokus): For each non-prime integer X = p1 * p2 * p3 * ... * pn In which all pi are prime numbers in the form: pi = 1 (module 4) There are exactly and only 2^(n-1) different ways (ignoring order and position) to write X as a sum of two squares (a,b): X = a^2 + b^2 Example: 65 = 5 * 13, where 5 = (4*1) +1 and 13 = (4*3) + 1 Therefore: n = 2 and there're only 2^(2-1) = 2 different ways to write 65 as a sum of two squares (a,b): 65 = 64 + 1 (8,1) 65 = 49 + 16 (4,7) With more prime factors (all 1 mod4): 3 factors= 4 ways. 4 factors = 8 ways. 5 factors = 16 ways.
There's a good example of inflation. Today, on the cheap side, a .45s go for about 25 cents per round.
Back when I used to shoot, I would pick up surplus ammunition in bulk. Last time I purchased 7.62x25 rounds I picked up a crate of 2500 rounds for a little under 500 CAD (or about and 20 c each) and a can of 720 rounds of 7.62x39 was around 175 CAD (or 24 cents per round). Or at the current exchange rate, 15 and 18 cents American respectively.
