Joined a few weeks ago but I've been busy as a nine-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs, so I haven't posted any critiques yet. Ouch! Just read the forum rules and they remind me of the word reciprocity--give and receive. I've focused on poetry, memoirs and short stories for many years but recently became interested in learning how to write flash fiction. Looked easy at first but quickly discovered that word count isn't the heart of writing a story people can read in five minutes but remember for, well, at least a day or two.
