Anyone knows what weBooks (http://www.webook.com/) is about? Is it a reputiable website? Does it constitute publishing? (guess not, as it is not google-able and restricted to members-only)
Well, it appears to exist, but I wouldn't think it would be any good for publishing. I went to their linkedin page and found an address so it seems to exist but whether it is any good, who knows? But I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole myself. I've found a very old blog post (2008) and the comments below it are just as interesting. http://accrispin.blogspot.co.uk/2008/05/victoria-strauss-webook-update.html It had an update in 2013 and I can't find anything much after that. http://www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/digital/content-and-e-books/article/60976-webook-relaunches-as-new-publishing-platform.html As for publishing, it would appear only other writers and some readers are on this website would be able to see it which basically means it's a workshop you have to pay for. It has a reader only base too but this isn't very big.
