    The streets of the sky
Kind of a mix between poem and short story. Poesy. Or Stoem. Whatever makes you feel fuzzy inside.

    Twilight Merchant: The Sailor
Strangled breaths. I pound my fists hard
    against slippery handholds that flee
when touched. Sour red shakes my senses
and I pound my fists hard against slippery
nothingness. The depths slam me, drag me
    into their murky chambers.

    My vision is forfeiting itself to defeat;
burning eyes, burning lungs- I grasp at
the light above this grave. It peels away but
does not give. Fire dots the blue around it-
fire on the bodies of men I once called friends-
and fire on a past ship’s wooden remains.

Moments slipped by; I went from desperate to resigned.
God damned me! Left me mortality as my
trophy to behold and show off to Davy Jones.
God damned me- I caught sight of my shipmates’ bodies-
and didn’t even have the decency to let me be alone.

Then the ocean shrieked and suddenly went quiet
    settling into its cage like a docile canary;
a purple stream of light bore down on me.
The rumbling water was all stillness and sigh, the fishes concealed
    with a sound so profound, like oil over velvet, the light pronounced;
“Are you sure you want to flit away like this?
Boy, the waves die quickly but people don’t have to.
Don’t pretend you want to flit away like this.
Wouldn’t you rather be married to life than
    its divorcee?”

My voice rang within the crystal space- loud but shaking-
    who are you?
The light parted gently. A figure stepped forth, shrouded
in magenta robes. I could not make out his face, but felt his gaze:
    I am the twilight merchant.
My heart twisted in fear, in half-recognition-
are you the Pale One? Death? The Grim and the Reaper?
I am a merchant. Good at his trade, and the only one who does.
    W-what…are you here for?
An exchange; the time you owe to day and night, for an equal share of time in twilight.
I held my breath. And, deaths in the day do not transfer to deaths in the twilight. Had he winked?
So? He beckoned with luminous fingers.
Wouldn't you rather be married to life
    than divorced to it?

    I pound my fists hard
against firm wooden rails and satisfaction.
I am a sailor- a god damned one-
but a sailor no and none the less.
    I have carved my ways through this violet sky;
tasted the bellies of virgin islands suspended by it-
    toasted champagne to the wind-
as the sun and moon both hang in the sky.
But alas; the sun is setting, the moon is blackening and
reappearing far over the horizon. The waters lose their orchid sheen.
I must set the anchor; my time for now is up.
I am a sailor- a god damned one; or maybe
a god blessed one- but a sailor no and none the less.

    A Vampires Moonlight

    A Vampires Moonlight

    Caressed under pink skies
    Tame and pleasant
    Soulless yet beautiful
    Romantic yet deceptive
    The lament of all souls
    Lost to purgatory.

Blood flows through the pink sea
    Angels unwelcome
    Watch from afar.
The sunset belongs to those deserving it
    A Vampires Moonlight
    Ancient and beautiful

Two moons signify the two worlds
    The lost
    The traitorous
    Here you’re only welcome
    If you’re the immortal Vampire
    Haven if not Heavens Hell

Here the sky lies pink and cold
As strong as the blood sea
Here the angels watch from afar.
    A vampires Moonlight
    Seduced with gluttony
    Vanity and The after living
Welcome Home Children of the night
    For you are witness to
    A Vampires Moonlight

ok, my entry. hope y'all like :)

    My Peace

    Water cools on my skin,
    Naked and free,
I am one with the water,
    And it is with me.

With the moons on my back,
And the sun in my face,
I can drift on the breeze
    And see far into space.

    The clouds in the sky,
    As soft as the sand,
    Trying with might,
As I swim for the land.

    Sun, it is setting,
    The moons on the rise,
    Swim to the distance,
With a shine in my eyes.

    Just keep on swimming,
    Off into the night,
    And the darkness does fall
    As it swallows the light.

    An Alien Sunset

    An Alien Sunset

Would you ever see an Alien Sunset
Were the fires glow bright and moons shine
As the night closes the sea becomes pink
    And Ghosts whisper
    Can you see
    An Alien Sunset

Some say this should be paradise
But if they new the truth
    From an Alien Sunset
    Would they say the same
    The ripples from the sea
    Speak in patterns
Ghosts follow the moons around the sun

Would you say this is an Alien Sunset
    If you new the truth
Would you stand across the moons
    And play witness
    To an Alien Sunset

Is this a place to be free
Or would you see the prison
    Is this the devils den
Or are we just imagining the new Horizon above
So do you see this Alien Sunset
    So bright and quiet
    Would you see
    An Alien Sunset

Can you see the sea’s so deep
Can you see the truths hidden in a paradise
    So far away
Or do you see this Alien Sunset
As we see the skies are pink
    And the sea is slow
    As the ghosts glide
    Under the two moons

This is certainly the place to see
    An Alien Sunset
    So attractive yet so mysterious
From all But do you glimpse the ghosts
    As I do
Or is it just An Alien Sunset

    The sky, angelic, haunting,
    Is mirrored by the sea,
And in the fires of the sun,
    Something is set free.

It turns about, and flies with joy,
    On wings of burning cloud,
Its freezing gaze is now set free
To turn upon the sky and sea
And let them know their king to be.

The world, with lands in misty green,
Prepares to meet the darkling gaze,
The light that sets the sky ablaze,
    In silver pinpricks,
Pierce the midnight shroud of black,
And bring about new freedom’s reign.

The heralds of this fledgling lord,
    Do stride across the sky,
White, as from bones of creatures fair,
    Washed about with purple air,
Over the sea did these sentinels bear.

    The sky, angelic, haunting,
    Is mirrored by the sea,
And in the fires of the sun,
    Something is set free.

    The paper crown anomily

    The moon lays stagnant,
heavy as a dead mans brow.
    Soft yet un giving,
sunsets on us with a frown.

You turn to me like the loveless sky,
    talk of lust,
    deny, deny.
If death is the only answer...
    One of us must die.
    Two testify to omen,
    Two moons and a sigh,
    two moons you and I.

    The paper crown anomily
    like a cesspool,
    love lust, cash flow monopoly.
breaking through like warts on the oceans back.
Little chunks of wanton, a landscape of periless sin.
    All grace and dignity;
    Beginning to wear thin.

The sun bows low to the volumes,
    burning against water,
    pushing against tide.
    Willing to weaken,
    Just as you and I.
Just as the day we shall fade away
    swept into the waters,
    down to rest we lay.

    Wrapped in reed
    while the souless feed
    with opinionated lies.
As the last of our antiquity shy
into shadow and away from here.
The truth of a would be love
    never more, and crystal clear.

Well I know this isn't very good, but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

    And so the smoke rises
    from the embodiment of the searing sun;
As it graces the surface of the ocean
with its glistening blood smeared illusion.
As though a tin of paint
had spilled down a window pane.

    A sharks feeding frenzy
and the earth is their meal.
The skies upon up in fury,
    sending down unearthly lashes;
    from an electrical whip.
    Fire ravishes the lands;
    it all ends in ashes!

    Damnations paintbrush of illusion
    glides across the canvas!
    Leaving behind a nightmarish picture,
of the story just been told.

    It is his painting, his image;
He is the one that made it into reality!
    He is our master now;
bow before him as he ties barbed wire to your feet.
Binding you forever unto his devilish world.

I close my eyes and see a land where all the worlds at peace.
No bourgeois or upper class or peasants in the streets.
There is no price on anything as everything is free
And everybody works together to secure this grand belief.
Communism, Socialistic or Marxist it may be,
but wouldn't you enjoy this world thats filled with the beauty
of man and man each joining hands to fight hunger and greed?
Or is this view a view thats held by me and only me?

    A Trip in Traffic

A gentle swim lands me on these strange shores,
where the laws of reason no longer hold sway.
    What fun in funding ...
and causing the distant cartel wars ...

an expansion of mind and an affirmation of kind -
two moons two mushrooms, a mixture.
I can see my own blood flow:
an elixir into the purple lake.

Traffic lights blur as I try to stay awake.

    Trollops of the Tide

Wanton moons preen and vie for the sea’s affection.
Ocean answers, foaming, rising in restless yearning
    The fickle mistresses glide away
    across the ruddy heavens
    laughing cruelly.
    The swollen seas, mortified, stung,
subside, blushing crimson as the waking sun
    over the still horizon,
a silent witness to the harsh seduction.
