    Baby Birds

Each of us at some time meets,
Hard times that are not planned.
Like birds in nests that cry to eat,
    Whose mothers understand.
With little chirps and yearning tweets,
    To their Moms they call,
With worms chewed up inside their beaks,
    Their mothers feed them all.

    Human Nature

People on the streets, people showing the beauty of a gold ring,
People running with absolutely no reason.
They do it Summer and Winter, Autumn and Spring,
They do it day and night, no matter of the season.
    Men coming from their jobs,
Women Stand tall with their pride.
    And children with troubling sobs,
    I cannot put them aside.
And in the middle of it I stand,
My feet strongly chained to the ground.
I see people slowly killing this land,
Without purpose they go round and round.
And I just cannot hold back my scream,
    I have to ask why?
In this world of cold-hearted People,
Why won't anyone hear my cry?

    Scream the Wheel Turning

    Handouts for the Have Not’s
    Bitter tasting sour grapes
They want for this and that
    For Pete's and pity sake
Cry for more, ask for little
    Does needy rhyme with greedy
Or is it the other way around

    Pillars of Despair
    Cries upon deaf ears,
    Lonely ten second journeys,
    To end their short years.

    The sounds vibrate
    On chords of
    Delicate resonance

    To echo into my
    tightened throat with
    Unbridled hesitance

    Screaming out with
    Abnormal reactions
    Of remembrance

    Of the nightly terrors
    And replayed dreams
    of his fingerprints

    Out From Under

Out from under I observe the pressure
Of the midsummer night’s enchanting stage,
    Where blossoms forget their splendor,
And accede to the nature of this age.

Despite the iron fist I must wage war
    On the subtle spring fever setting in;
And wade through wicked waters to the shore,
Whilst parting from what I won’t touch again.

So pardon me, O foul, forsaken beast!
    For it is I who spawned this turned season;
‘Twas I who dreamt of this forbidden feast,
And compelled this world’s most needed treason

People suffer; no food, no home.
    Angry, fearful, with no hope.
On the streets from Athens to Rome.
Some pray to God, others the Pope.

    A banner, a shout, a scream, a yell,
Where is our money, why is it spent?
This is just like being in hell!
What have you done, without our consent?

High wages, big projects promise the earth.
Decisions that rob us, taxes that steal.
Newfangled ideas that have no real worth.
Our savings are gone, we strongly appeal.

One slice of bread on our meagre plate.
Our children starve. We've sold our goods.
No more fresh food, a terrible fate.
We now despise those with knighthoods.

Our leaders, they just talk and talk.
Let them come and live with us.
Just let them try to walk our walk.
Eat nothing but a measly crust.

The Eurozone has lost its way.
Let's build a better life for men.
The Euro's led us all astray.
Chuck it out and start again!
