    My night-sky fantasy

Slowly walking through the garden of dreams
    I hear peaceful, melodic screams

I look above and I see the stars
Those moonlit queens that open my scars
I hear their whispers every night
Gazing at the Moon the floats on the sky

Blue velvet ocean with no end
Heart once opened, never closed again
Heaven divine that glares in my eyes
Perfect constellation in the vastness of night

    Immortal soul- yet unborn
    Above the life- nevergone
Keeper of every wish and sin
Beholder of the tameless lust within

I like to write poems with a hidden meaning, and I found that a little harder to do because it had to be about the sky at night. However I think I pulled it off. Although it is clearly about the sky at night, what is the narritator?

To me it is forever my home,
with out light, but not alone.
If it touched me, such pain,
    extinguished by that wicked flame.
It’s not here, where I play my game,
with the crazy, and the sane.

What is it you seek to be?
What is it you seek from me?
But a life under the velvety darkness.
A life under the canopy of bliss.
Never again to see the large light,
absent in the sky at night

    Reaching For the Stars

    I’ve climbed at times
to the stars in my mind
    and stared down
at the dirt on the ground.

    I then lose my grip
on my life and I slip!
    sure to die
when I fall from the sky.

    it’s then that I find
that the stars in my mind
    are still there,
    undisturbed in the air.

    I lift up my head
    and climb back up again
    if I did,
    at least I had lived.

    Dust of Bones

    Withered crow,
    nest of black feathers.
    of good thing gone bad.
    Lost in the ruins
    the world forgot.
    The hand have
    stopped ticking.
    No way to move,
    to feel,
    longing for one last touch.
Nothing left but the night sky
    to comfort these eyes.

    Claustrophobic Sky

As the sun dies and leaves you behind,
The thick of night burns a hole in your mind.
The sky bleeds black, razor-sharp stars cut it's face,
Feel the claustrophobia of this open place.

Pressing down onto you, into you, it's coursing through you,
you're in it, it's in you, it's doing it to you.
You try and get away, but try as you might
There's no escaping the sky at night.

    You made me promise that
    this was our little secret
"Look out of the window," warned
the little voice. I heeded it
    and looked for dear life.
    Grandma never knew
that I drowned myself so many times
    in a distant night sky.

more than 7 lines, whew :)

    A Sky at Night

A sky at night is like
    a thousand eyes staring back
    at you

    Those eyes watch you
    and every thing you
    do, eyes that never

    The night sky reminds you
    or maybe just reminds me
of what I use to be
    pure and innocent
    not understandable
but watchful as anyone can be

    Looking at those eyes
    staring down at earth
we only blink at each other
    once before the sky goes
    blank and the eyes
    can no longer be seen

    It will make the children
    wonder what did the
    night sky look like
    at one point in

    The night sky now dark
    as can be
    no more watching
    no more eyes
    just stillness
    and silence
