    The path ahead is unclear,
And I am at a crossroads.
    If I choose wrong,
    Much will be lost.
    I have no guide;
    Only my conscience.
    My heart says 'Don't move'
But in my mind I know I must.
    I must move now.
    I must move correctly.
I must take the road less traveled.
I must take the path that is more difficult.

    A Choice

To arrive at such a destination after so long,
Wandering without cause now, without scope.
This path, mocking me, is so wrong,
No sign, either way, to help, not even a hope.

So, which way do I traverse down?
To my left, my right, or straight before me?
Or should I go back, just turn around?
And never reach the end of my journey?

For a day, I stand at the core of them all,
Figuring still which way to progress.
Without a decision, even when night falls,
The best way to go would be just to guess.

But do I dare come back, if it was a fault?
For the past cannot be unwritten once made.
And this thought makes every step halt,
    And then I realized, I've just been afraid;

Afraid of what will happen, if it all turns awry.
But to live life even with regrets, I should do,
    For a chance, an opportunity, should not be denied;
I continue to walk, off the roads, my life renewed.

There's a woman in the bus deppo,
    Eating crisps,
    Wondering thoughts.

    Traveling by the 535
    Don't know why,
    Wonky eye.

She's got on a nurses outfit,
    Does this mean she's nice?
    Maybe a disguise,
    Don't know why.

A guy keeps looking at the nurse in a bus deppo,
    Filthy jeans,
    Yellow fingers.

He tries to sell her a daysaver,
    Don't know why.

    She nicked his wallet
    He didn't see,
    Blinded by his desperation.

There's a thief in the bus deppo,
    She crosses roads,
    Marked black and white,
    Lane 1,2,3,
    She stops on 4,
    Don't know why.

Is she a nurse, or is she a thief?
"That lady stole my wallet, can you help me?"
    Here's my bus.

    The only road

    The forky road,
    stirs thoughts indecisive,
    stabs the heart startled

    At the crossroads a stranger,
    foe, not familiar,
    impure, dark
    a demon of many tongues.
    with words he devours,
    what might be yours

    For gallant brings fortune,
    happiness, bliss, love,
    a maiden pure beauty
    no other will do.

    Leads astray the fool,
    to bitter end, the doom
    cuts the tongue,
    rips thine heart,
    claims it his den
    to scorn bends the letters
woe for today, woe for tomorrow
    no other will do.

    Just, like Robert Johnson

At indecisive moments plucked from obscurity,
when fighting fires in drowning slides of melt-water
    and star-speckled handouts of ash,
    some pipe-smoke cloud-tower defines a future:
an anchor thrust into the conscience.

An offer of co-orperation at his bare feet,
    the thick-necked artist stands mute.
Just like Woody Allen and the Steve Miller Band,
    he must avoid the graveyard blues;
    burn your brightest! (Inevitable decay).

    The right path

    I haven’t lived a long life yet
    From childhood till today
I did the things my parents said
    And followed the right way

But slowly now I’m growing up
    And see the future’s near
It’s going fast, it will not stop
    And thing still aren’t clear

    ‘cause suddenly there isn’t just
one line for me to follow
I see before me roads are crossed
    Four ways to go tomorrow

    How do I know
    Which path is mine
Which one is right or not?
    Where should I go
    How will I find
The spot that is my spot?

And when it seems all hope is gone
    I realize suddenly
    Above in Heaven there’s Someone
Who know the way for me

It doesn’t matter where I am
    Somewhere on that crossroad
Things will go as He has planned
    I will never be alone.

    Choosing is deadly
    It kills you inside
    Two roads
    One path
    Where do I go?
    What should I do?
Do I take the one less traveled?
Do I take the one more traveled?
    Each has their positives and
But I took the one less traveled
It leads me to who I want to be
    And where I should go

Through the intersection lay a sign,
bent over, cracked, split in two.
    The surrounding area was ensnared
with the piercing yell of tires locked,
    rubbing harshly across the pavement
onto the grass. The sign read
    "Cross road."

    Where Love Overlaps

    Parallelogram streets
    Criss crossing at crazy angles
Like a line through my heart
    That beats an uneven rhythm
As tires pass over manhole covers…slip slap…

    The echoes of traffic
    Soft whine…engines out of tune
Stopping and stalling and starting again
Reflections of my not so stellar inner workings
And my failed attempts at love

    Indecisive intersections
    Each one a fragmented road
    There are no signs
    There are no speed limits
    And I foolishly race ahead
    Knowing inside that,
    I have chosen wrong
    But still, I cannot stop.

    Tell Me Which Way

    What would You do
    If I just stayed here
Just laid down, eyes staring up
Yes My eyes. My cement snow colored eyes.
    Laid here
Here in this sickly sweet freshly cut grass and pretended the moon was cheese
    Waxy cheese, with holes
    Yeah I like that
    And ignored You.
    And Your silly demands.
    Would you please stop screaming?
Your screams are getting tangled in the stars
Dim, they’re getting dim, they can’t breathe, you’re…
    You’re STRANGLING them!
You’re killing the stars, You, yes You!
They’re falling, cutting the sky into thin strips more blue than black
The forests, the cities, the penguins
all turning black, stained with tarry night sky air.
The sky is falling, rolling and tumbling towards the earth
In fat, juicy drops, splatter painting the world
    And it’s all your fault.
    I said fine!
If you’re going to make me choose
No, no, I won’t get out of the car
No, it just rained anyway, the grass would be all wet and spongy
Then I say we turn left
    What’s wrong with left?
Well why didn’t you so! Jese.
    Five minutes
Five whole minutes I spent at this

    My own lonely cocoon
    Restless at rest

    I waited...
    as long as I could.
but a step to be taken-
    left, right, forward!
    they say,
    not doing a thing
is in fact deciding not to do anything.
    So I can't stand still-
    no more!

I have had enough at the crossroad.
    I have lost, broken,
    fallen apart
    from the ones I loved.
Now it's time- just move ahead!
    loose forever or reunite.
as hard as it may seem,
as silly as it might turn out to be,
    I got to go now.

I need to start a real journey-
    Enough at the crossroad!

He took me to a place where the crossroads were unmarked
Away from the double roundabouts, box junctions and red rimmed signs
And their attempts to impose order upon chaos.
He taught me how to judge the right of way
    With concentration instinct and awareness
    My grip unclenched
The bucking braying beast was gradually tamed
Until its purring resonated within me
As the three of us sat poised, defying gravity on a 1 in 5
    At one with the bite.
Until my foot released the clutch
    With fluid grace

    I take this path

    I'm Percy Wade
    -------------------------------I'm Selina Myles
Just your average man------------------------Maybe something new
I choose to live my life------------------------I choose to live my life
Just because I can----------------------------For goals I must pursue

I try to find the reasons-----------------------I choose to make the purpose
To do things I do-----------------------------To do the things I should
Just to pass the seasons?---------------------Not the things that hurt us
I find this to be true---------------------------But to do all kinds of good

There was this one girl------------------------There was this one boy
Who taught me to be frank--------------------Who taught me how to dream
The facts of life she all unfurled-----------------The fun of life and adventure's joy
I have her to thank----------------------------And the meaning of extreme

It was all eternities ago-----------------------It was not very long ago
When I was but a child-----------------------When I was young, forlorn
I would trot around and play in snow----------I would play alone and bask in woe
Mulling of worlds so wild----------------------Living life to mourn

---------------------We would knock at each other's doors-----------------
    ---------------------To spend some time together-------------------------
---------------------We'd laugh out loud and hide in drawers---------------
---------------------Just like birds of a feather----------------------------

I would dream of knights and mystic swords---I would dream of nights on empty streets
In a land of nymphs and magic----------------Looking for a way home
Dragons aloft and stentorian hordes-----------Shadows astray on cold concrete
And deaths by no means tragic----------------And dubious phantoms roam

But my ideals were not perpetual--------------But my despondence was ephemeral
And the naivete did not last-------------------And the anguish did not last
Now I see things factual-----------------------Now I renounce the natural
And no longer cling to the past----------------And eye a world so vast

As the moons bleed a varnished crimson-------As the suns rejoice a mellow hue
Black and White collide------------------------White and Black collide
A forgotten deed is tarnished in prison---------A cherished choice bellows askew
And the road I took has died------------------And the roads alas, divide

Will the roads meet again?--------------------Will the roads meet once more?
The answer I don't know----------------------I'm sure they will one day
But I shall live my life till then-----------------And if they part just like before
And wait until I go----------------------------To join, they'll find a way
