Already did the Humans abduct Aliens thing. Too bad it was not worthy of more than 300 words. :p

A sewage monster. Like, literally, a monster made out of sewage.

I'm getting a headache just thinking about it. :bigfrown:

A story told from the perspective of a [former] house cat living on its own after all the humans just simply vanish one day

Maybe not a bad idea per se, it's just the execution of it that I never quite worked out...

One of my earlier stories involved a human girl that was actually a zombie due to her uncle selling her soul to the Devil, and one of the major characters became a legendary hero after pulling a dagger out of a block of wood. :p

Sounds like a pretty crappy idea. Not a terrible idea, though. The Operatic Poo Monster was my favourite boss in Conkers Bad Fur Day.

While cleaning up some old story notes I found one that I can only assume I wrote while high. "Astronauts go to to moon and find out it really is cheese. Nixon did it."

The Circle, a life journey of a self-described phallocentric moron, c.180k at 1/3.

The New Tyranny, global devastation and post apocalyptopia with bizarre twists that could actually happen now, c.50k at concept.

Both are absurd because I've never written anything. I was a B-minus English student, and I hate writing. Well, not as much anymore I guess - most absurd. o_O

A short I wrote awhile back saw a star shaped human holding the world hostage for forcing its little sibling (the moon) to orbit it. The star accomplished its task by draining all the worlds oceans with a magic bottle which drained the world of all water (All.Water.) for thirty seconds. When World caved, it brought about the "Dark ages" for those denizens upon World until it could find a new moon to strike a deal with.

It didn't end well for World though. As the old moon, upset about its capture, told a gang of giant asteroids what had happened. Said asteroids went to jump World an ended up creating a smaller planet in the aftermath.

Possibly not the weirdest idea I had, but the only one in recent memory. :p

A story about ho w human beings gave up natural language in favor of less coercive forms. Had trouble figuring out how to tell it.

An alien planet populated by unpleasant space traveling beings that evolved out of the petroleum remnants of a previous ecosystem. The hero bombards the planet with oxygen ice to burn it all down.

A man who transforms his body into a giant that contains all the components of an interstellar spaceship, allowing his naked 300 foot body to roam the universe.

Maybe he finds a lady friend who also likes to travel? Maybe his mind has plenty of room for simulation?

More importantly: How does he fit all that stuff in a man sized body?

I have a story where grammarians try to protect us from sentient punctuation, namely the cursed interrobang, the Mark of the Beast.

    ‽‽‽

    When I was a wee pre-teen I had a story about a cat stalking a bird.

How about a serial killer/crowned prince who is the anti-hero of the story. He both causes and wins a war, freeing his nation from the clutches of an empire. :) .
