Completely didn't see the nominations thread for some reason otherwise I would've suggested a story. Anyway, I've voted although I'd be happy to discuss any of them.
I voted for my own nomination (no surprise). It's just a cool story First came across the author in a women's studies class in college, and she has been one of my favorites since then. The whole collection this story comes from is just great.
