Southwest chicken salad: spinach leaves, fajita chicken, tomatoes, avocado, salsa, and homemade ranch dressing.
Tacos. Alert, Moon is attempting Tacos again. I will not fail. I will not fucking fail this time. You'll see, past me, you suck at making tacos you little taco failure.
I did it! Hahaha, in your face past me. You're my little bitc- er.....I'm so happy to have overcome past failures. Spiced up some ground beef, watched it cook until it was brown then added some beans I had cooked to it. Got some lettuce, shredded some Mozzarella and cheddar cheese, used some store brought taco sauce put em all in some soft shells. Had six of em all to myself. Just need a beer to top it off, buuuuuuuut I only have chocolate soda. Ah well.
Three meat salad: lettuce, cucumber, tomato, grilled chicken, bacon, smoked char siu, and cheese with Caesar dressing.
Yum!!! What's the salad dressing on that, please? A something vinaigrette? I almost bought shrimp and wish I'd seen your post before doing the grocery list. Sounds delicious even minus the cheese. ETA: Leftover citrus marinated chicken fajitas. (Citrus this time was grapefruit with a tiny splash of orange juice. Plus cumin, salt, and pepper, and whole garlic cloves and onions.)
Burgers, fries, onion rings, BBQ chick sticks, diet Cherry Dr Pepper (I like the taste better), some Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with lots of gravy. Didn't cook that, but rather I ate it at the BBQ. Then I told my younger brother and we went on a "quick" workout run. I'm beat. Someone kill me.
It's a traditional milanese... toss with oil, lemon juice, and a salt. Then top with diced bell pepper and celery and the shaved cheese. I usually use parm but my mom had some asiago open. Normally the salad goes atop a breaded and fried veal or thin pork cutlet, as in veal milanese, but she had some shrimp laying around. I only added the croutons to keep from starving... lol. ETA: I never dress arugula. Too much crisp and flavor to ruin by dousing. And if we really want a heart attack, add a fried egg between the breaded veal and arugula.
Ha, same here. Bought some shredded rotisserie chicken, microwaves it with some herbs and sauce. Microwave brown rice. Microwave cheese and broccoli. Lazy as hell but it turned out alright
[scribbles on index card] Thanks! My knowledge of Italian cuisine is practically nil aside from a few red sauce joint dishes (French was my thing, with heart attacks a la creme). I recognized it when you said the part about the cutlet, though. Yum! A damn tasty way to keep from starving at that!
I am currently on vacation visiting my in-laws in Tennessee, so dinner is kind of out of my hands for the next few days. Lots and lots of barbecue, casseroles, layered salads - that kind of thing. I'm actually looking forward to some laid-back meals on this laid-back trip! I can get back to the fancy stuff when I get back home.
Eating an early dinner since I have greeter/night time management work tonight. Nothing fancy, just white rice and Mexican corn. I'll definitely be eating some pastries the restaurant sells, too.
