Got a couple of potatoes, bacon, sour cream, a half-decent Irish cheddar, and chives for twice-baked potatoes and a some steaks to go on the side.

    Oh, yeah, salad too. Whatever.

These look absolutely amazing. Makes me want to start baking again myself. There absolutely gorgeous.

Dined out for the first time in a while at a Chinese place for lunch yesterday. It was nice and worked out, hot dogs for dinner don`t leave many left overs and now the doggy bag is today`s lunch. Now maybe general tso chicken doesn`t fit into the lighter healthier diet I`ve been trying but it was good ok. I got the white rice it evens out. The plan for dinner yesterday was BLT`s, with tomatoes proved by my friend who told me he still had some from his garden. Come to find he had been dicing and canning them, which is cool but a BLT does not make. I got passed a burrito through a car window though so that was dinner. ....Yesterday was weird.... The meal plan however is back on track with cooking up a big pack of chicken for tonight. It`s a lot of chicken so should be able to spread it out through the weekend. Though we should do mac and cheese or something similar over the weekend to. The top shelve of the fridge is just one mound of different bags of cheese like we`ve been hoarding it away. I don`t know how we got so much.

Dinner tonight was a double grilled cheese. Basic American inside, good Irish cheddar melted to the outside, served with Kirin lager on the side.

Meal plannings been going pretty well so far. Stuck to it pretty well this week just need to do the mac and cheese tonight and plan out the upcoming week. Looking forward to tonight, love mac and cheese. Just need to decide if it`s being made on the stove or if we`re going for some lovely baked. May come down to whatever pans are actually washed.

This. ^^^ Exactly. Food is dependant on what equipment is already clean.

90% of the time, when one asks oneself that question, it always ends up being the takeaway option. The garlic chicken sounds nice though.

Mhmm.... true... but I need to do something with the 1.2kg bag of chicken breast sitting in my fridge. It’s about to go bad.

Healthy food? Do my ears deceive me? Has someone spoken the devil’s name? What is this heresy I am hearing?

Burn the heretic! Where’s the priest? We need an exorcism pronto! Never shall we hear those words again!

Chuck it in the slow cooker with a couple cups of white wine. 4 hours on high and you'll have chicken ready to be shredded and frozen which you can then use in anything, chicken salad, bbq chicken, toppings, whatever.

Don’t have any wine... or a slow cooker... I’ve got beer, liquors and every schnapps known to man... but no wine...

Mhmmm. Beer chicken? Vodka chicken? Double malt, 12 year old scotch whiskey chicken?

The ideas... so many possibilities. I must try some of them.... never tried to cook chicken in beer or liqueurs... I think a nice spiced rum could go well with chicken
