Sitting alone in an all to quiet apartment. While I'm lucky it's so quiet (will probably head to bed soon) it also make the apartment feel more lonely.
Ahh, for some reason my mind was connecting lacing with the heels, ie, the heels has laces. Spoiler: rant... But yeah, it was nice to suit up, but due to my years of loose fitting cargos and t-shirts, oversized jumpers and hoodies ( so the sleeves hang past my hands while walking), the tightness of a suit feels good for the 1st few minutes, then I feel far too restricted. I have 3 other grey pinstriped suits I got from the Op shop same time I bought the new black suit, bough them to have fun in the village by doing a season of always hitting the village in a suit. I think I'll develop my own style of wearing suits; worn loosely, thus a scuffy way to wear a suit. Though it was an unexpected warm day I suited up, last time I wore one it was winter and it felt comfortable for over an hour.
Ok, so it looks like Hobart is off the menu, and the donk's playing up has increased in the last 2 days, so if the weather is good imma do the injectors as soon as it's warm enough. It'll be far less an effort now I know what I'm doing, especially the order in which to remove the fuel rail and injectors: Unbolt fuel rail, then unhook injectors from fuel rail, then pull out fuel rail then injectors from head, and not unbolt fuel rain and pull it and connected injectors away from head.
I had a day off today, and my husband has been out of town for a week. I hear ya on sitting in an apartment feeling lonely. In my case, I have a very clingy dog that will literally cry if you dont show her attention. but its still, a quiet and empty apartment, so I still feel lonely
Speaking of fashion and grown men dressing themselves, I've decided to forgo the whole "I put my pants on one leg at a time like everyone else" thing. From now on, I'm putting my pants on both legs together. So far, it has been a work in progress. Today was the first day I didn't fall over, so the R&D is finally showing some results. Stay tuned!
I'm reminded of one of Hunter Thompson's quotes from his... eulogy? Malogy? of Richard Nixon: "Nixon was so crooked that he needed servants to help him screw his pants on every morning."
Sorry I didn't respond sooner, but I'm still trying to unpack and learn about my new town. Yes, those are drawstring pouches they can be used as either coin purses or dice bags if you are into face to face FRP gaming.
No, you're not xD Actually that's why I send all new characters in three different standard scenes - to get a better feeling for them and avoid the overtaking monster at least for a while
While I was unable to dress while standing I did put both legs on at the same time, it was easier than getting one leg up and then working out how to get the other leg started. All of that could have been because I was also lacking in flexibility during that time. On the plus side, I continue to improve in both strength and flexibility as well as my gate improving, soon enough I will be back up to where I can ride a bike and do other stuff again. Now I'm thinking of just how I can finance a motorcycle on what they allow me to keep of my income. It sucks being in assisted living.
What? I think the WIP I am working on now is a far cry from my first book (and its never going to be finished sequel).
Just got back from a 3 hour walk in the sun! Walked to a shopping mall about 40 min away and then back. Sadly nothing fun at the mall, but still feels good to have been put exploring on my own! I've been trying to find birthday presents for my brother and one of the stores had both comic books and wrestling merchandise... But nothing that felt worth it and easy to ship to Sweden. I've got a few weeks left, though.
Almost finshed the description scene no. 2 for my main character. I'm not quite sure wether the third scene will be necessary... I guess I'll work on the plot line later on and then figure wether I'll write scene 3 oder not...
Just got back from the dining room, took my lunch to go because I slept all morning and didn't have a shower yet today. If I had known that the cooks didn't know how to make a proper sloppy joe sauce I would have had something else. At this point, it has become moot, so I will put some hot sauce on it and eat it anyway. next time I will know better.
I guess I'm finally caught up on these forums, now for other online stuff that has been waiting for me to get done with this one.
SPAGHETTI BOG EVERY DAY!!! My upcoming book has smatterings of humor in it, most of the humor revolves around my fondness for SP and my dislike of Quiche...thus I already know, when the book becomes well known, Quiche lovers will avoid it, but I've weighed the pros n cons and decided I can live with that.
Tomorrow is writer's group. Wait..what day is it today..ah Sundee, not Mondee. Writer's group Tues. Turns out Fridee was unusually warm 'cus nice loud thunderstorm hit late in the arvie. Our area missed the brunt, and yesterday was dry but cooler. The AEG cordless drill kit has a bonus that expires, but I can head into Lonnie this Fridee to grab it, thus no rush on ute repairs, but due to village run on Teus, will go for injector rebuild today or tomorrow. Dawn soon, been up since midnightish. Idiots guide finally arrived; Sept and Nov dedicated to crash coursing grammer and puctuation so I can finish the transcript.
By now I'm cursing my pc - don't worry, I always do - and I'm questioning wether my plot line will actually work... it sounds kind of strange to me xD
My deepest sympathies for the freak accident that caused you to simultaneously lose all of your taste buds. I mean we are talking about the same gift from the cosmos, an actual omelette pie, right?
Listening to a podcast while windowshopping South Coast Plaza I am not planning to and don’t believe have ever actually spent money here. Edit: I’m sorry but Bloomingdales has an actual DJ with a sound table between the purse and makeup departments. This mall is always a trip.
