Ya think? Introspection = not good in many cases. Human brain with too much time = bad things.

Speaking as someone who's had effectively limitless free time to think about stuff even before this quarantine business: Yeah, kinda.

But also: Even if it's stuff you don't particularly want to think about, that doesn't mean you shouldn't.

For example: Lately I've started suspecting that some of my peculiar personality traits may actually be symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Except, I'm not really sure what exact trauma my PTSD is actually would be related to.

And that sorta worries me. Like, this strikes me as something I should probably get sorted out. (Assuming I'm not just being paranoid, of course.)

I was the same with my AVPD. Everyone in my life was absolutely sure I was depressed etc but it wasn't until I went to see someone and they picked up on me displaying very strong traits for anhedonia, so we took it from there and ended up here. I know it's a bit of a buzz word lately but things are generally on a spectrum so I wouldn't worry too much about little displays of traits here and there. But if there is one thing I'd advise everyone to do the first day they leave home, is go talk to a counsellor. I shoulda done it years ago.

    Anyways, What am I doing?

    Reminiscing.

Back in the day, when I was a young lad and my head was as full of dreams as it was hair. I used to drive around in a Moondust 1.4 ford puma. Those were some great times. I put 185000 into that thing and it never skipped a beat. Last year I noticed that things seemed to be coming full circle. Like how Cobrai Kai was basically the continuation of the karate kid. GnR reformed and retro wave returned, not that it ever went away but things started becoming familiar with things taking on an old 80/90's theme. Not gonna lie, I felt a touch of youth returning to me after the utter carnage of losing family members, mental illness and just life's championship winning haymakers landing one too many times over a ten year period.

Then Ford announced the return of the Puma after being away 17 years.

Like a lot of folk my future isn't concrete amidst all this furlough lark, but it is good to see yet another thing from my past prowling the streets in an all new sheen.

Don't think I'll have the resources to buy one so I'll just keep a hold of my Mk1 memories.

    That's all really.

Drinking rum and having the time of my life creating jams from an online platform. I never figured 'til now that it could be so helpful. So easy. I'm on a roll! :D

So, went from playing groovy stuff on maj 7th, my 3 base chords being: Cmaj7 - Bmaj7 - C#7

    To a sad, little arpeggio: Emadd9 - Em - Am7/A9 - C/Cadd9/Cmaj7

To a creepy, little reef: A#maj7 - A7sus4 - Dmmaj7 (what a bipolar chord/ I love it!). These are all played on the lower part of the fretboard.

I am drummer, your chords do not compute. :p
Tone more important than your technical notation
and jargon. Also less finger gymnastics. :p

Finger gymnastics is a guitar player's milk and honey. :p
I had to search for the names of most of my chords here. I know the math to name them, but for some reason always get them wrong. It can get pretty complicated. Add rum4ice and a broken fingernail at the equation and little things like that don't matter anymore. Pain is my middle name!

And I thought bass was bad since I have small hands. :p
But yeah I do know a bit of the plight of the guitar player,
and I have stupid fingers, so I have respect for anyone that
    can play. :)

I've heard this from many, but your hand size doesn't really matter. At least not so much. Listen to the bass line this dude produced:

He doesn't seem to have exceptionally big hands, but he comes up with very interesting tunes.

Enough about that! How's your drum playing going?

It is coming along alright. Working some double base into some
techno style. :) It is interesting, but IDK what anyone would think
of adding a primarily Rock/Metal style into the mix on that genre. o_O

I don't know about anyone but I'm a fan of hybrid music! Do you have the double beat pedal thingy? I've tried playing drums. Looks much easier than what it really takes to play them. My foot would go off more times than needed and I'd hold the baguettes like fairy wands. :p

Yeah, I like a fair few of the Hybrid Genres.

It takes a lot of practice, and a lot of limb coordination
training. I am still learning stuff, and I have been playing
for about 21 years. When I first started at 13, I was beyond
crap, but I preserved, and can say that I can keep time
    pretty well. :)

If you have recorded a tune don't be shy to send it and I'll play on it. You drummers are like the holy grail in a band. I often play with other guitarists or bass players but not with drummers, which is a mood killer. Drums make everything blend up well and increases the passion in everyone playing. It makes sound complete.

I don't have anything recorded yet, I am kinda shy about my playing.
Though I really want to, just so I can play around more with my DAW. :)

I don't mean to push but it'd really be great for me, just so you know. Just in case brotha! :D It's simply enjoyable. Even a snippet would be fine. I'd come up with various different ways to play on it which is fun. Keeps the creative juices flowing.

Today Imma go to the sea for the first time this summer, huray!

One of my friends, who is coming along called me to cancel it because he just figured that someone stole his scouter. I was about to ask him "Are you sure?", but didn't because it sounded idiotic. He called me back 10 minutes later to tell me that he had forgotten he had parked it 5 blocks away from his apartment because of a flat tire. He promised he won't ever go drinking again (I think it's the 20th time or something) at a specific meeting place... Ha ha ha ha ha! Yeah, right buddy...

    Recovering from another weird dream.

I somehow had these weird almost pea sized clear rocks in my arm and they kept pressing through to the surface so it looked like I had those under the skin body modifications, except they'd rip my skin when they pressed up. It was only a few at first, but then there were dozens. Only on my left arm. Woke up slapping the shit out of my arm to make sure I was all in one piece.
