Now I’m wasting time and trying to get up the energy to go to work.

I have a similar procrastination going: “Is it the key fob that died and just needs a new coin battery ($5 replacement), or is it a major that will cost hundreds?” Godspeed to you, @big soft moose . I suppose seeing your post in this thread was meant to be a nudge to get me off my ass about it...

Eating veggie dumplings I took from the new years party last night.

Going to read afterwards, then go to the bookstore.

Pretty boring day all things considered.

Haha, I tend to cringe whilst going through old unfinished work. Sometimes I get confused as to where I was going with a certain concept and whatnot. But mostly it's cringe.

I've been trying to finish a draft for my horror script, and have been trying for quite a while.
I'm close. My goal is to get a draft finished by April!

Just finished getting dressed at 3:30 in the afternoon after sleeping in after two all-nighters in a row. Trying to make myself get moving to redeem what's left of the day.

Hmm - put the new battery in, it starts and drives but the low voltage light is still on for about 15 mins after each start up... weird. Time to go see the nice mechanics i fear ... lets hope it's not life savings territory

Waiting for students again. Fifteen more minutes and it's time to make the phone call and head home.

Yes, but the problem comes when the class ends. If too many of the students are too busy/unimpressed with the class, there might not be another contract. I've always managed to find a few more who are up for it, but there's no guarantee.

Every time I'm on this particular thread I have to fight the urge to reply with "I'm writing a forum post..."

Leave for work in about an hour. Ektomorph and coffee to jumpstart my brain. :)

Drinking orange juice, avoiding putting in a load of laundry, and deciding which of the ten thousand projects to tackle today. Also, contemplating working on my WIP to avoid all of them. ;-) And, of course, writing this post.

Holding my belly. Wishing I didn't eat so much cheese last night. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Don't be absurd. Cheese is always a good idea, and the proper response to any given circumstance.

I'm going to have to write a scene now where my MC escapes deathly peril by offering someone a cheese platter.

Especially if the circumstance in question is not enough cheese.

Homes, I keep telling you, cheese is evil! Some people never learn... [Rolls eyes]

    :D

(Context for newbies: I'm allergic to cheese.)

Contemplating the wisdom of the adage, "Don't invest more in the stock market than you can afford to lose."

My stocks took a big hit today - good thing I don't have many of them! But it looks like I might have to economize on my laundry budget, or just, you know, go commando for a few weeks. Good thing I'm retired and have a pantry full of ramen noodles.
