Oh believe me, I know how difficult it can be. The person could be long gone (dead or otherwise) and my grudge against them still lingers.
Knowing my luck their matter would be shit out a whitehole in another universe. Oh wait, that would make them someone else's problem in an entirely different universe.
Laying in bed. Its like 10:50am. I woke up an hour ago, grabbed my laptop to work on my WIP.... but I ended up on here -_- Now the dog knows i'm up. I've done nothing productive. So I guess I'll take her for a walk...
Start of an on-going conversation about why it is apparently necessary for me to purchase rocks from my son. "Daddy, which rock do you want to buy?" "I'm okay buddy. Thank you, though." Genuinely confused, he said, "But you have to."
Specifically, it was "Come Out and Play" but I also have "The Kids Aren't Allright" and the full album of Rise And Fall, Rage and Grace in my library.
That's my favorite part of Arizona. We used to go to the South Rim of the GC a lot and always had a picnic in Oak Creek Canyon on the way up. (ETA: Listening to the first Offspring album as I type this BTW. Thanks for the tip.)
We are going down the canyon to Sedona tomorrow. That’s my favorite offspring album. I like a lot of their others as well, but that one has a different sound from the rest.
Yeah, it's really raw and energetic. I was laughing my ass off at "Beheaded" just now. Love that! Fun fact: I almost drowned at Slide Rock in Oak Creek Canyon when I was 14. Still love Oak Creek Canyon despite that, though. Enjoy the drive!
Listening to the Call to Prayer. Yup, not Muslim, pretty prickly atheist even, but this is just a beautiful bit of music. I remember it hammering out from the big imperial mosques in Istanbul, the time delay of the distance creating a round to the glory of Allah as the sun set over the minarets. Sublime is the correct word.
World-building while I wait for my next appointment to come in. Super dead day, which I suppose is good for my creativity. Nothing like constructing a creation story (just one of four in this universe) for a race. Feeling a lot better than I was earlier too, so that's a plus, because I felt dead to the world.
Got up at half past five after about three hours of sleep. Catching a train at seven and hope Baltasar will be back before me. This travel has already taken the best of me (and some hearing in my right ear) and I don't know if I can make it with the worry and/or chase. I need to be in bed again as soon as possible! Hope Balt is alright. Can't even think about the worst case scenario
Halfway done with my second summer class; thankfully, I have a two-week break before starting my fall classes. Might have to start a blog if I keep on updating my status on this thread!
