I'll start: Fire an AK-47 full auto (rock-n-roll) Blow shit up - (BIG LP gas tanks - big fireball, very hot) Drive 135Mph Own/ride a dirt-bike Own/ride a street-bike Build house Fly over Grand Canyon Camp on the North Rim of Grand Canyon Ride in a helicopter Jump off a cliff (and survive happily - intact) Flip a car (and survive happily - intact) Survive in the middle of nowhere. Do some things that no one can ever do again. Oh yeah, start writing a book!
*sees how much cool stuff you've done* I mean, I pet a deer, so that was pretty cool. Also, I'm very curious about this one.
Yeah, I did that while in Nara, Japan; deer are everywhere there. It's one of my wife's favorite Japanese cities, and it is very nice. I prefer Kyoto myself, more culture, and Nijo-jo is pretty cool; the cherry orchards around it are stunning when in bloom. We both agree that Tokyo is a little too westernized to be worth spending much time touring. Getting to 20 US Patents where I was a named inventor was something. So was 50.
Never have pet a deer, got me on that one Jumping from the two cliffs (40'/70') at the base of Rainbow Bridge, into Lake Powell (now at crisis low). Dirt-biking (and shooting) in RedRock, El Mirage, and Joshua Tree. Shooting, at Calico when it wasn't a tourist attraction.
I think my bucket list is literally the opposite of yours, it's like: chill, piddle about in my cottage, cook, sew, grow old
I've touched a dolphin, fed it and got it to do a trick. Haven't swum with them yet though. Find the man I'm going to marry. Check. Most of my list is still to do.

Found love again. IDK when I will ever get the chance to play Noir Detective, cause I don't have a fedora or 12yr old Scotch. Maybe one day.
Ive been passenger in a flipped car. year 1977. Car , a Volswagon beetle. with 2 college mates. One the driver. Luckily no obstacles where we flipped. Open space. We all came out without a scratch. The driver was very apologetic to me and the other guy. understandably so.
Became a father Climbed a mountain (twice) Threw a grenade Crowd surfed straight to the front of a concert Earned my eagle, globe, and anchor Rode an elephant Married the perfect woman Overcame alcoholism and smoking addiction Ran a marathon Traveled the world Bought a home There's more, but I liked those ones most. My wife and I have now combined our bucket lists. We have a lot to do. Good thing we have time to do it.
I can add more challenges... have you ever………. taken a girl out on a date, who in turn met another guy at the pub you both visited, then gone home alone drank a bottle of vodka in 30 minutes gone to extreme lengths to find out the phone number of a girl you like gone to the wrong Church by mistake and not realised until 10 minutes in gone swimming in a river at 1.00am in the morning with a bunch of fellow 18 year old drunk maniacs. there was a rope to swing out on as well. that's all I remember been told that a party you attended last night must have been really dull because apparently you were "the life of it"
Into Lake Powell. Water is harder at 70' than 40'. I was 17, it was a dare to go the second one, that explains a lot.
-Fired a 50 cal. (We may have caught the range on fire.) -Fired a SAW (M249) -Fired a M16 and M4 rifle -Thrown a grenade -Traveled to South Korea (Army stationed in Suwon, but been to Seoul, Osan, and more), England (London), the Netherlands (Amsterdam, but just landed there then traveled out of the country by bus), Germany (Berlin, Wagenfeld, Leipzig) Czech Republic (Prague, Paradubice), Hungary (Budapest), (been through Slovakia, but was on a train the whole time) -Been Tased (for certification purposes lol) -Tased someone else -Ridden an elephant and a camel (at Renaissance Faires, but still) -Seen fanged deer in the wild (Google water deer if you want nightmares) -Spent 5 years in jail without ever being arrested or convicted -Sung the National Anthem at my college graduation (solo!) -Cut someone down who was attempting to hang themselves -Saved an abandoned (or orphaned) fawn and brought it to a sanctuary
Those weapons are fun. I especially like the SAW. I was one of the last recruits to get trained on the weapon, so when range time came they had to get rid of the ammunition. We just fired the SAW for hours. Lit the range on fire. It was awesome.
We got 40 rounds apiece, and I think we did a hundred or so on the M60 in MCT (forgot about that). It was the end of the day on a Friday, so the troop handlers were looking to secure for the weekend and hit Oceanside, mine was yelling at me "Don't let up, don't waste my time, just burn through that belt and change up!" I didn't know they got rid of the SAW... everything has done gone and changed, no more ironing your covers, no more polishing your boots, prolly no more using a toothbrush to clean the bolts that hold your rack together, just endless warfighting and earning ribbons and such...
