Awesome. Often go down to Jervis for a bit of fishing (on the boat). 20 minutes away, and home of now many car commercials.
I was born in Seattle, but currently go to school in the middle of IA. As for where I've lived throughout my life, I'm a military brat. I've moved around a lot...
My location bar and current avatar say it all. @Speedy, I suddenly want to vacation in Australia. If only for the sake of photography.
I want to live in a country where the economy doesn't suck and it's not impossible to find a job. That's all I have to say.
I agree. We should go found a new country. The Country of Wayfare! First President of Wayfare... COGITO!!
Canada. @Jonias, well mate I must congratulate you on living in such a wonderful country, where exactly in Canada do you live, I live in New Brunswick, east coast, it's not much really. You lot will be fine when the rest of the world runs out of Oxygen, trees, trees and more bloody trees.
Australian born and raised. Lifetime resident of the usually sunny Queensland, now surrounded by very muddy, smelly water. We survived the floods pretty much unscathed (except for the driveway, which was a swamp), but a lot of houses and shops nearby are ruined. Love and best wishes to all affected, hope things get better soon.
Hey, look, fellow Canadians! Canada's a wonderful country. I live in the U.S. right now but I spent some time in Kingston, Ontario. I've never been to New Brunswick, unfortunately. I'm sure I'll visit it eventually though--I've got a dual Canadian-American citizenship.
Not really, but of course it depends on where you ask, because it's a pretty big country. Even in the relatively short distance between them, Toronto and Ottawa have very different climates- not to mention Vancouver vs. St. John's Newfoundland, or Iqaluit, Nunavut. Where I live even in winter it is warmer than in many parts of the US. In the northern parts of the country, it might be the case. It is -4 Celsius in Toronto right now, which isn't bad for this time of year. It isn't unheard of to get over 100 Fahrenheit here during the Summer though.
Perhaps. American Staffordshire terriers are a type of pitbull terrier though. The original Staffie may not be considered a pit bull.
A poll someone? I wonder if someone could do a poll. That way we can look at where most of the users come from. <---- USA!
Maybe a Mod can do that? But then again, there are 200+ countries on Earth, and not all of us are from UK, USA, Canada, Belgium, or Australia.
well, im from germany. was born here and never moved somewhere else. ok, germany is not bad, but its soooo boring here! but some day, i'll leave europe for some time. i'd love to live in the US for a year after finishing school and i really hope that it will be possible! omg, i remember... we had to learn it in our english lesson... well, in the meantime, we had to learn a lot of things like this... all the american states and their capitals for example. ok, its nice to know maybe, but honestly, why should I ever need to know that Cheyenne is the capital of wyoming? and why does our teacher think its a great idea to teach british, american and australian english?!... ok, its good to know all kinds of english, but it is soooo confusing! oh, and im wandering off the topic, im sorry! well, back to germany - oh wait, im afraid theres nothing more to tell (as mentioned, BORING!)
I'm from the Netherlands, born and raised there. I did live in England (4 years), Miami (1 year, way too hot for me!) and Australia (Sydney, loved it there only 6 months though).
Hey, if it means a simple life in Germany, I'm gonna want to live there. Preferably in the countryside of Germany.
