I think it means that the Parasurama created and dedicated that many temples to those specific Gods and Goddesses. Do you have any more context? I wouldn't use tinyurl. Not sure if it's allowed here or not but some may be reluctant to open it without more info. I only did because you've been a member for a long time, despite few messages.
Sorry, here is the url, and thanks for the reply https://www.google.com/search?q=how+many+parasuraman+temples+are+there&oq=how+many+parasuraman+temples+are+there&aqs=chrome..69i57j33i160j33i299l2.24758j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
Still, a little more context could help. You know who Shiva is right? (I never heard of Durga but I'm not Indian or Hindu) You can insert links as hyperlinks here by highlighting the title or description and clicking the link button to insert it (looks like a chain). Like this: how many parasuraman temples are there?
Thanks for the info. Specifically what does consecration mean? I'm confused. Never mind, it means ordained. You can close this thread.
Strictly consecrated and ordained are not the same⦠places are consecrated ie designated holy by xyz religion, people and beings are ordained
