    What Is Your Favourite Band.

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Raven, Oct 18, 2006.

    What Is Your Favourite Band.

Mine is a Band called The Mission, I've enjoyed music from this band since the 80s. They started out in 85 as a goth band but have long since matured and become a very talented group.
The lead singer has a talent for song writing and singing.

They have done some classic tracks over the years.
    Tower Of Strength
    Butterfly On A Wheel
    Swoon
    Evangeline
    Deliverence
    Breath Me In.

I've been a fan for a long time.

    Well favourite Bands.
I put the Mission at the head of all the music bands that i like because i've been a fan for a long time.

Other Artists that I like are.

Mike Oldfield I saw him play Tubular bells 2 live way back in 92 and its a performance I'll never forget.
Words alone just cannot explain the magic in the mans talent especially to actually sit there and see him live.

I don't think I could narrow it down to one band. I am really into Mike Patton, though. He has a kajillion bands.

My current favorite is Nickelback. I do enjoy their music.

I am also very fond of Godsmack, Rascal Flatts, Aerosmith and Zero 7 to name a few.

My taste in music is a varied as the Grand Canyon is wide. My Ipod has everything and anything from Jesse Cook and Benise to John Mayer, Nelly and Fuel.

It is so wonderful to have a genre of music to match every possible mood. ;)

I would have to say Metallica. Hands down. Although I have many favorites. I have started listening to a band called Lamb of God. If you are into Pantera style music this is one band you have to hear. I also enjoy classic rock.

I happen to be a music snob. So I'm trying really hard not to be mean or condescending. But I don't think I'd agree with most of the people here on what "good" music is.

What is a music snob? How exhausting that must be.
