Alrighty then I don't see any point in hanging around, the last game seemed to be a success so I'm starting another one! The same rules apply for this round; if you want to play just give me one line of description for a character, and once I have enough to work with I'll stop the game and draw what you've all created. Just so I'm clear there aren't really any rules here (that I can think of), you can send me a physical description, an age, a name, an action, an expression, if you want to give them a sidekick go for it, hell you can even give me a line of dialogue if you want to and I'll try and work it in. Also bearing in mind that I can't use everyone's offer, so if I miss you out it's not because I was being lazy or mean, it's just not really possible to do them all. But this is a very fun thread to do so there will be plenty to contribute to, and I'll try not to use the same descriptions twice. Dear me I've rambled quite a bit, so let's get to it. I'll start; his brown hair was disheveled, the habit of tidying it in the morning had died easily.
He was blind, but hated wearing the glasses. A white blindfold was neatly wrapped around his eyes instead.
He wore a farmer's tweed jacket with a collar that stood high and covered his mouth. The man's feet were booted and caked in mud. In fact, the mud went beyond his boots and on to his jeans that were only washed today. His mother wouldn't be too happy about that.
Curiosity prevails! Her blazer hangs off her shoulders like an old man’s musty overcoat, the school’s badge sown to it with rough cyan stitching.
So this man has his eyes covered and his mouth too, thanks to me, but has also got to scowl? Good luck
well to be fair I did say at the start I don't have to use all of them that's why I'm like just write whatever the hell you want then I have more to work with haha I didn't use all of the lines from the last one simply because I couldn't without it looking too cluttered :')
All right. His nose is well structured and broad, but he has thin lips that appear bloodless and cold. He's tall and lanky, with a thin waist and bony arms with hands that seem too big for his body.
His knuckles were bloody and scabbed from the hard labor he hated, and equally from the fist fights he got himself into at the local bar.
His skin was bruised, all over (he always bumped into the things he couldn't see), but stubbornness was his white cane, and pride his blindfold.
The sun gleamed off a emerald ring he wore on his left, hand on a finger scared from a accident ages ago.
I wonder what would happen if you added genre limitations to this? Would it make people more or less creative?
I think the Bear Lord, is referring to keeping it a scfi, fantasy, or etc theme. Or maybe say limiting it to say things that would describe a crime lord, or fit in with a romance novel. I believe that`s where he was going.
It is interesting to see how people would play with that rule, although, people seem to have done it with this round actually, most have gone with a relatively similar theme. Which is surprising given the diverse offers I got last time, which I really enjoyed because it was more of a challenge. But nevermind
OK, thank you everyone for playing! I am going to stop the game because I have plenty of descriptions to work with now. Just like last time I am going to get to work drawing the character, and I'll keep you guys updated on how it's going and how long it should be. If you haven't played yet, or if I don't use your suggestion, don't worry I'll be starting a new game once this character is posted to the site, so feel free to play again.
Because it's christmas time the next character will take a little longer to upload, I'm sorry for those who are waiting.
Hi everyone, I'm so sorry for the delay over christmas. The character is not yet ready, I was enjoying the holidays and also looking after someone dear to me who was ill, so I haven't had time to think about this game etc I'm back now though everything is fine so I will get to work on drawing the character!
Hi everyone just a quick update; I've drawn the character and I'm currently colouring him in. Do people want me to draw facial expressions like I did with the first character? If so bear in mind that it'll take me longer to upload him And does anyone have any name suggestions for him?
