Well. OBVIOUSLY there's no persuading you. -cough-crazyperson-cough-
Haha jk! :) You're entitled to your own opinion of course!

Just out of curiosity, what is your favorite band?

Listening to these and seeing some comments reminds me of a few people who like Matallica and everything after Reload etc

    Evil people.

    Under there.
    My favorite band?

Well, if I'm being totally honest, Weird Al Yankovic. Even if he is a bit more hit'n'miss these days.

    For actual, non-parody music...

    Hm.

Probably the top two are Regina Spektor and Eels. Cake is also very high up there. If I had to pick just one, I'd go with Regina, because I have a slight overall preference for female vocalists, and she uses her voice in such interesting ways.

    I love Metallica.
    Never heard 'Reload' though.
But I don't listen to them that often so I don't know much about new stuff.
Mainly I just like Master of Puppets, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Nothing Else Matters, Sandman etc.

Damn it. I like all three of those bands haha.
At least, what I've heard of them.
    Curse you! xD

But not to deviate off of the 'subject'.
New Chris Cornell = nono. Lol.

well than if yourl istening to their older material (which is yes) than your doing the right thing ;)

I like passion and something new (which all good bands start off doing), i dont like it when they lose their passion and release crap for the sake of doing it ($$$).

I don't really care if something is mainstream or not, etc.
But I do tend to never like the new stuff bands I like come out with.
Partially due to the fact I'm so attached to their old sound.

    Such in this case.
Or HIM's case. Love their old stuff, never get sick of it.
But I don't think I like a single one of their new songs, save for maybe one or two.
