I find that, writing song lyrics, which can really be described as a more strictly formulaic sort of poetry, you really get in touch with what your favorite words are. You can only fit so many words into your lyrics so you try to really make 'em count. I really love when you listen to a certain artist or band and after a while you start to see what words the lyricist really likes - for example, Jack White of White Stripes fame seems to really fancy the word "reaction".

One word I really can't get enough of, despiting not using it very often, is "coil". I just love the way it sounds. Coil... coilll. Coil.

I like words like "rush," "refresh," "frost," etc. They come across as very...refreshing? :p

I also like the word "sapphire."

I like words that don't exist, like FUDGEPACKER.

I' ve just got the idea of somebody neatly packing fudge into the back of a van, and even though the word is not meant to actually convey someone packing fudge it just seems hilarious to me

Did you see that South Park episode where Tom Cruise is a fudgepacker?

He literally packs fudge at the fudge factory.

Electoral. I have no idea why; maybe it's because I follow politics closely, but I like the way it sounds.

It sounds like two words that have been clumped together for no apparent reason. lol

I like the sound of inter-dimensional anal beads

I go through a list of favourite words. Currently, my favourite word is aperture. Also related to my other favourite word, glimpse.
    Aperture
is a favourite of mine for the above reference. No, not the beads. The other thing.

    Skunk. That's a gorgeous word! It's just ... skunk.

Throb. It sounds like a science fiction movie alien race: "The Throbs are attacking!" But it's more of a sound effect with sexual overtones. Weird, but fun.

Billow. Everyone knows what it means, but it's hard to define sensibly.
