I just attempted to access the forum "Bookstore" and can't seem to get the whole width of the listings to show. Here's a screen shot of what I get. There are no scroll bars available. I'm using a MacMini running Mountain Lion, and my browser is Firefox...
I found I have to adjust the size of my screen view: decrease to fit everything in or, increase to move the side bar down to the bottom of the page. That fixes the problem.
Thanks, @GingerCoffee . Awkward solution, involving me moving the right side off my screen and extending the left, but it worked. Thanks.
It's up on the top line of the forum menu ...between Articles and Community. I believe it's a direct link to Amazon where you can buy our members' books.
thanks, I found it ... but I won't be browsing to buy until I've worked through some of the unread books I've got lurking around. I like that the bookstore lists works by members here.
This problem appears because the Amazon store page that is embedded in the forum has a static width, rather than being dynamic. So if the browser window gets too narrow for the entire store to fit the store will be cut off on the right side. I think it's still possible to scroll sideways in it though (and there should be a scrollbar about a metre further down the page, though I do not know why it appears so far down...). If I'm not mistaken, if you go to Amazon through the WF bookstore the forum's will receive a small part of any money spent to buy stuff (whatever that stuff is, not only the items listed on the bookstore page). And yes, the bookstore is awesome.
