These questions are for those who have an ambition of selling 1 million copies, and have already made this their goal... Why? What's your reason? What result(s) do you want in your life as a benefit of it? I just recently asked this of myself, and am curious how others would respond...
To get rich innit! Jokes aside, Im hoping that my creative prowless works toward making my familys life better, while showing my children they can achieve anything they set their mind to. Dispite people telling you, you cant.
To rub it in the face of the writer that sold 999.999 copies and tell him or her: "Slam-dunk! I won!" I'd be happy with fewer sales. A lot fewer. But if I sold over a million... I'd be ecstatic. And rich. (I' d probably procrastinate even more). I'd feel more at ease and continue writing with elevated confidence and determination. I'd move. I'd pay all my debts. I'd spend sometime abroad. I'd support the people that supported me. I'd make a speech to thank all the people that helped me and bury all the people that made my life difficult in the meantime.
