Where do you live and whats it like there? For obvious reasons don't give your bloody address or street name.
I live about 80 miles East of Springfield MO. USA. Right now it's cold, wet and not very enjoyable. But in the spring, summer and fall it's a wonderful place!
On the campus of the University of Sussex, just outside Brighton. It's been quite warm today It usually is quite nice, but there's a cool breeze off the sea.
About an hours drive in morning traffic from NewCastle, NorthEast of England. Just in another estate like all the others round here.
Canada (eh) I live in Ottawa, Canada and its currently very cold here!!! Brrr! The city isn't very populated (unlike Montreal and Toronto) The Ottawa river isn't very fresh (Kind of polluted) Nice people here (friendly)! We have parliament buildings. There are many ski hills, which are located around here. (Majority of them are in Quebec) <-- Perfect place to ski! Thats basically it.
Stanely the Capital of the Falklands its the most populated town on the Falklands Island and its very cold here icy roads and oot paths. The place is very beautiful and we have a direct few of the ocean so we get to watch the penguins as they come in. The people here are very friendly.
I live in the pacific northwest (US) nad its pretty cold, but shockingly not that wet at the moment yeah it's actually pretty nice out here we have very mild weather, its very very green, lots of evergreen tree's
I was there in January 1984, and they were having their warmest weather for years. Came back to the UK in February with a decent tan. I live just outside Canterbury, in Kent.
I beg to differ, its pretty boring here, but actually I really love the city I live in It's very pretty in a sort of modern way, plus i live within walking distance of everything (beaches, my school, the downtown area, etc) but its still very boring here, well actually the whole state is boring lol
I live on the Tennesse-Kentucky border. Very, very southern with bunches of hills. The place where we fear the weather! Woot!
You have never been to Stratford. Don't EVER say that anything is boring until you've been to Stratford.
I live in a small town in central Massachusetts. We have one post office, a half dozen low end eateries, two liquor stores, and no supermarkets. But we also have a state forest, a lake with a beach, and plenty of wildlife. Right now, we are pretty much frozen over, and everyone I know around here is pretty sick of it. It's a tough winter.
Somewhere around late 2010. If we're lucky. But they have set up a temporary theatre called the Courtyard, so they still show plays. (Before it went to London, Hamlet was at the Courtyard, and I was at one of it's first showings. That's where I met Tennant. )
I live in northern California...it's almost 70 today and sunny. This is our "rainy season" but this is the third consecutive year of drought. Our reservoirs are less than half full...we need rain. I grew up all over the east coast of the U.S. Mom was a "proper Bostonian" while dad was a southern Rebel from Florida. Mom hated the south. Dad hated the north. So, we bounced back and forth in my younger years. Spent my teen years and first three semesters of college in Massachusetts (lived in Whitman - SE Mass). I remember the cold winters and humid summers. When my family moved to California in '68, I went with them and never looked back. Dad always referred to Massachusetts as "Mass-a-taxes"...LOL
Dallas, Texas, U.S.A. Just a basic city. Buildings, roads, some pretty good places to eat (The French Room and The Bistro at the Adolphus Hotel and The Old Warsaw Inn). Home of MaryKay Cosmetics, the Sixth Floor Museum (commemorating JFK) and the much smaller Conspiracy Museum (commemorating vivid imaginations). We have White Rock Lake, which is nice for fishing, sailing and jogging around. The buildings and bridges in the White Rock Lake Park were build by the WPA during the depression. Not too long ago, a statue was erected honoring the WPA workers. Fair Park is also here, home of the Texas State Fair, which was originally the Texas Centennial Exposition. It has some of the best Art Deco architecture around. What else, what else? Nasher Sculpture Gardens Trammel Crow Collection of Asian Art The WORST public transportation system anywhere.
