Where has everyone gone. Since I was last active everyone has vanished. This place used to be extremely active and now its like a ghost town. What happened to the regulars and the top posters. The lounge used to be active like every twenty minutes and now its as dead as JFK.
Seriously dude where has everyone gone. Have they found somewhere better or is forum life becoming a thing of history. Even the mods are inactive. And Torana she is always online well was.
Torana is away and will be for the next two months for a start off. but for God's sake, can people stop moaning, please! This is the second thread along with millions of other references about how dead it is here. tough, it happens, people have things to do and sites often go though a slow period. so please, lets just try and post as much as we can, or want to, and get on with it. Aye, and maybe because they have other things to do. As i understand, people do have lives outside of the forum. And what good is posting this going to do?? What you do excpect any of us members who still do come to be able to do exactly?

I am sorry but I am not being aggresive, just pointing out a fact. We cannot do anything about the people not being here, and we cannot help and make the site move faster. So please, please, stop complaining about it.
I'm here in the background - just don't have the time to post (except for this one obviously) at the moment. I'll be back in full force at the wknd, as I'm sure will others - It's abusy time of the year what with people going back to school / college and the like.
Some of the "top posters" have had other temporary things come up recently. I've no doubt they will return. Banzai, of course, has no excuse. Just because he has a job now, I mean sheesh, how lame is that! Every forum hits slow periods. It's a simple fact of life - the fact that people do have real lives, and have to prioritize their activities accordingly. As for where people have gone, those who choose to announce it usually do so in The Come and Go Room. Other than that, we respect people's privacy.

I have noticed that boards from time to time slow down. Heck the board I own and run is down to 10 members. Can't seem to attract anyone else. But it will pick up again probably as soon as the bad weather really hits. Everyone I hope does have a busy life in the real world and nice as this one is the pay is not all that great. We all need to eat. So come and go as you can and will. Drop in when you get the chance and if you finish that novel and get it published remember all the little people who knew you when you were one of the little people.
Cogito and Lessa are right. Some people are just too busy. And Heather, I know you were stating your opinion, which hey, I agree with but it was coming across as a little agressive so I don't know the reason behind that but I saw it as a little agressive even though you were rightly stating your point. Besides, there are plenty of posters, they just actally post their work up and not hang around the lounge like me!
aye, sorry, I know. it just annoys me a little when people just complain when things are working exactly as they want it to. People should just grit their teeth a bit more and get on with it rather than pointing out stuff hat we allready know and can see for ourselves.
