I'm an early-70s guy. That's the music I grew up on. Folk, folk-rock, prog rock, everything from Gordon Lightfoot to Yes, with long stops at The Who and Jethro Tull. And tons of others: CCR, The Band, early Elton John, The Doors, Crosby Stills and Nash, Simon and Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, etc etc etc etc.
Definitely an 80s or early 90s man. There are many reasons - 1) Fashion sense 2) Musical Tastes 3) Movies Tastes For some reason, I constantly have to check my writing to make sure it is in the right era of mobile devices and phones.
Even though I am quite young I will forever feel like I was suppose to be born somewhere around the 18th century or maybe even somewhere farther back. And I truly often wonder why I was born in this era that I cannot, in many ways, seem to understand. Maybe I would feel the same way if I was born back then who knows?
I was born in '79, but my brothers are both almost ten years older than me, so I was an 80's child, but with all the music and pop culture from the 70's. I'd give anything to hop into a time machine and go back. Fuck modern technology, give me a big ass radio and a smoky arcade any day.

I love all those bands ...yes, ALL of them ...but I started with The Beatles, when I was 14 years old. I had a transistor radio glued to my ear during most of my free time for the next four years. Then I went to college, and could play music whenever I wanted to! Yeah, I'd say that decade between 1964 and 1974 was 'me,' in terms of music. In terms of dress and fun, I have to say the 80s, though.
Not far off in some ways! Crop circles and alien lights. Dancing till after dawn to EDM. Crusties hanging around in trees. Green men springing up everywhere, walking on fire and meditating in stone circles. It was a pretty good era for myth and mysteries.
Yeah... That was the wildest rock festival in Finland in that summer. What a pity my memory is a bit vague about what happened in that fuzzy night between 1985 - 1994.

IDK... I'd say I'm a product of my time which is this time, our time. Perhaps, I wish for a better tomorrow and hope 2020's is anything like me. We've come a long way people. I've seen racism come and thankfully go, I've seen sexism and homophobia come and thankfully go too; I don't see Islamophobia going and I don't like that. Perhaps I've watched too much Star Trek as a kid in a diverse society, but I have faith for the 2020's, I just hope I'm right.
I have thought about that myself! All of the technology any conveniences I am use to would not be there. I gues I will never really know but I assume if I was born in that time it would be everyday life and I would adapt to it.
I'm '80s through-and-through. Well, alright, a little bit 9th century as well; I thoroughly enjoy a good shieldwall and I think the world in general would be a happier place if everyone's expected afterlife was basically fighting, drinking, and humping. I'm also given to disappearing into the woods for ages with a stash of cheese, bread and milk when I need alone time. There are a surprising number of us in the Job, it seems; I wear a small silver Thorshammer, I know a guy with a Valknut tattooed on him (which is...brave, I guess?) and another with a runic tattoo.
The Dark Ages. I'm forever experiencing "wow I'm full of s**t" moments, everyone around me keeps getting sick and I can't do much about it, I've got bible thumpers breathing down my neck and if someone said the boogey man was walking down the street I'd wonder why they were talking about my pal, and at the same time I'm learning all kinds of crap (Not academically, school has done little for me since fifth grade except give me material to work with) that I'd have never even thought of.
Minoan A handsome people with an exceptional grasp of artistry and an enviable lack of body shame. Also, they are pre-Abrahamic. Yes, I would very much like to live in a world and in a culture that predates the coming of Abrahamic sensibilities.

The southern parts of India, during my travels there as a trainee Yogi, showed me a world without the old grumpy cock of Yahweh. Those were amazing times. Makes me wonder what the western world would look like without the Abraham deity.
