    Question [Solved] Which workshop?

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Seattleite, Nov 22, 2016.

I wrote an in-universe pet owner's column for a fictional creature. I just threw it together for fun, figured I may as well put it up for review (and a little forum game, see here), but I don't know what part of the writing workshop to put it in, or if the workshop is really the right place now that I think about it. Can somebody (preferably a mod, but not necessarily) point me to the right place, so I can go meet the two review policy there (I don't know if that's subforum-specific or not, just playing it safe) and upload this?

It's not subforum specific, so you can critique whatever you like.

Well, that's good to know, so thanks for that. While I'm reading, where would be a good place to upload this?

Afraid I'm not sure about that one. Humor, maybe? Or fantasy, if it's that kind of fictional creature? Flash fiction, depending on length?

    Humor, perhaps.
Fantasy, the creature definitely fits. Leaning this way right now.
Flash fiction, the column is 2,491 words, you tell me.

All items that you want to post on the forum should be posted somewhere in the Writing Workshop, and the 2 critique policy concerns reviews done within the workshop as well.

As for the appropriate area it can be a bit tough without the actual text. Fantasy sounds like it could work. Flash fiction is generally for works less than 1000 words or so.
Don't worry if you come up with a better place later (or maybe another member does) you can always ask me or another mod to move it.

Thanks guys. It's up now, in fantasy. (And my two critiques are both in science fiction.) If upon review it fits better someplace else, feel free to move it.
