Thanks, I'm feeling rather fortunate than worthy. Must fess it didn't flow out of me this one; I tried damn hard to knock it into a reasonable shape and submitted with a fair degree of reticence. And the ones that followed, well they were top drawer—so wings and prayers got me the shiny quill and ink.

eta. Can my gifted theme choice for an upcoming one be 'Woodland' :)

Congrats, SethLoki! It’s a good poem; I thought all the poems were good this month.

I had a poem ready to go, but missed the submission deadline cuz I was lollygagging on the beach at Coney Island with my friends, pounding down screwdrivers and pigging out on homemade pasta salad. So, there ya go!

When Wreybies comes ’round to crown you for winning this month, maybe he/she will also crown me for winning last month.;)

Thanks David, medal delay will give you time to get your shoulders broadened some more, so as to accommodate ever growing haul! That’s some collection you got going on there. I’m praising pasta salad now too for my good fortune:)

Congratulation @SethLoki for writing this poem and winning your first poetry quill! I voted for An Ode From Alpha To Omega because I quite enjoyed your passion for Omega with Alpha creeping in only at the very last line. Well constructed.

    The Orange Glow
by @theclawcadet came a close second for me because the poem was cute and I enjoyed the contrasts between alpha and omega and how they embodied the rise and fall of day. Good job.
